Dirty & no coffee makers. Stay somewhere else!! The entire room was dirty from the ceiling, walls to the floors. There was even hair on the bed sheets & towels & walls in the shower & sink area. The towels were so hard they felt like sand paper with hair on them.Disgusting! The website says every room has coffee pots standard in every room. No coffee maker. When I asked, I was told it was changed on the web site. It was not. Disgusting place. Stay somewhere else!!!

I called royal inn for room availability and price at 10.17pm on May 4th 2023 and they said they have one room available and they said it's for $130 and I saw it online for $70 at *********** so I booked it through them but when I went to the property the owner said there is no booking with your name.i gave my confirmation but he was not interested.he said we have no rooms available.i said I confirmed before booking through a call at 10.17pm and made a booking at 10.21pm.he refused me to give me a room because he was GREEDY AS HELL he did not want to give the room for $70 he wanted $130 in offline because it was the last room left.i will be adding some screenshots where you can see clearly he LAID that he did not got the booking and after he sends the cancelation confirmation without anything charged to me because I called *********** customer care and made sure that booking was made and told them to take strict actions againts such greedy motel owners.how can he cancel if he did not got the booking.i suffered for 2 hours at night time traveling here and there and my night was ruined.i don't want this to happen with anybody so please don't go for this property they are GREEDY AND LIARS!

Just bad. You know it's a bad stay when you have to watch where you put your hands or travel items to watch out for gross things in the room. Stains on the bedsheets. Hair from previous guests all over the place. Woke up to a spider friend in my sink. Sticky stains from previous drinks from previous guests on the furniture. Old smell. Dirty footprint in my bathroom area, which seemed to be from a previous cleaning and then dirty track going out of the room. Who knows. Just no attention to detail when it comes to the cleaning and upkeep of the grounds. Plus, the walls are SUPER thin. Luckily my neighbors decided to treat me to a quiet night with no noise, but I heard every detail of their conversation in the morning once they woke up. Yes the places to stay in Sparta are limited, but if you can, make the extra bit of drive and go elsewhere. Yes, you get what you pay for and this is certainly a budget hotel, but even to call it two stars is a bit of a stretch. Only positive: all of the hotel staff encountered seemed nice. Good for them for maintaining a positive attitude, but the reviews for this place speak for themselves.

My husband and I have been on the road for a few days and found ourselves in this small little town. Only place to stay in town and was absolutely delighted with the sheer size of the room we got for the price! I was dying for a long soak and to my surprise they have a room with a jacuzzi tub. Super friendly staff and the room was really nice and clean. If we ever find ourselves in this region again, we will absolutely be staying here.
