Hotel Villa Diana

My mother, sister and I stayed in split for 4 nights, we ended up eating in the restaurant of hotel villa Diana three times on our trip. We loved it and the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The food is simple but definitely tasty and worth the money. Although we didn’t have a room to stay in the hotel, next time in split I would definitely consider it as an option.

The restaurant is lovely. We ate there on a few occasions. Food was really tasty. Helpful staff, that really make you feel welcome. A really good find. They even reserved a table for us to watch the football one evening. Try the smoothies, they were very refreshing.

The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the town in one direction and 10 minutes from the beach the other way. Villa Diana is a wonderful oasis in a very busy town. It even has a very green front garden. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would stay again in a heartbeat. The room we had was on the front of the hotel, and was a good size, as was the bathroom. Great air con. The windows were double glazed and kept the traffic noise out. There was plenty of storage and the bed was comfortable. The hotel supplied drinking water on tap next to the reception and towels were also readily available for residents to use on the beach. This was a nice touch. The proprietor Mate and the team couldn’t do enough to assist us, from taking our bags up to our room, giving us tips on where to visit and really nice guys to chat with. The on-site restaurant had a great selection of food at reasonable prices, we ate there one night and enjoyed it very much. Breakfast is a reasonable selection of hot and cold. Parking is a nightmare in Split. We paid the hotel 20euros a night to allocated parking 2 minutes walk away. This must arranged before you arrive, it is worth every penny believe me! This is real gem of a hotel!

Hotel Villa Diana is one of those hotels that restores your faith in the system after you have had travel challenges. We arrived by ferry, my wife on crutches only to be taken advantage of by a Croatian taxi driver(another story - in Split, always use Uber!). HVD could not do enough for us - they went out of their way rto help my wife, not to forget good rooms, great bathrooms enjoyable breakfast. They deserve to be rewarded with custom.

Top floor without elevator but staff carried our luggage without blinking an eye. Staff was very helpful with everything, great team! Breakfast was delicious and the room was perfect. Walking distance from the old city centre. When in Split, we can totally recommend this place.

Stayed for one night when we arrived into split from Sweden - could not recommend more highly. All the staff were so helpful and friendly - had our room ready for our early arrival, gave tips on where to go in town, engaged with our kids, helped us do laundry in their personal laundry - brilliant. Room clean quiet and spacious, and most amazing location 5 min walk from both the beach and the old town. Breakfast for plentiful and tasty, and we had dinner there too which was great pizzas - Loved it!

Great location. Enjoyed our stay. The restaurant downstairs is a real plus. The staff was really helpful - particularly Met (spelling?). He was enthusiastic and such a wonderful person to represent this hotel. Thank you!! Would recommend.

I stay in Hotel Villa Diana when I am visiting Split. It is always a pleasant experience because the staff is so welcoming and the rooms are spacious and bright. The food at the restaurant is delicious too!
