We stayed here for two nights while on tour of Croatia. We had a large, high ceilinged room on the second floor overlooking the front road. It provided two beds, a small sitting area, TV on a desk, a large cupboard with safe, and a large bathroom with a good sized shower. Like our other hotels in Croatia, it was very clean. The front desk staff were very helpful. They came to open the safe (a common problem as people leave them locked), and provided maps, directions and recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast service was also very good; lots of bread and pastries, fruit and some veg, cold meats and cheeses, eggs and sausages, lots of condiments and good coffee. And there is a market across the street and a bakery two doors away, which are useful. Two minor issues were i) the elevator will only handle 2-3 people, especially with luggage, and ii) it is a fair walk to Diocletian's palace, and easy to get confused on the return to the hotel until you know the way. That said, I would very much recommend the Globo for staying in Split.
