Hotel Mondo

When we arrived, the first room had a cigarette smell. For that reason, we asked for a room change. In the new room the heating wasn’t working (we stayed in january, the coldest month of the winter). Additionally the sheet of the bed was loose, so we couldn’t have a good sleep the whole night. I strongly do not recommend this hotel for staying. A disastrous experience.

Stayed here as part of a tour. The Hotel itself isn't too bad, nice rooms, mini bar, room safe & a good size TV. The bathroom is nice. However, they have squeeze bottle soap dispensers, which are a bit annoying. Breakfast was okay, but there was nothing to rave about. Staff were nice & friendly. There is a supermarket nearby and a shopping mall a short walk away. However the location is a bit out of the tourist part of town & I'm sure if yiur a tourist you could find something closer to attractions

Stayed here as part of the group tour itinerary. Nothing much to shout about, the room is just average. In fact, it was rather dusty on some surfaces and on the telephone, no one seems to have stayed in that room for some time. Hotel location is not so great. Fortunately, the breakfast spread was not bad, scoring some plus points to balance its minus points.

Too far from center of town, the cab charged me 50 euro from center of town to this hotel. First he quoted 25 euro but when we got to hotel he said 50 euro. What a liar and cheat. The cab ride from airport to this hotel was 50 euro too. Its in the middle of nowhere. Rooms are basic Did not have food there so cant comment.

They don’t provide any service, no one to help with the luggage. The breakfast was the worst. The fruits were completely spoiled. The eggs were cold. The cold cuts were terrible. Just a waist of money.

Hotel Mondo is a clean functional modern hotel with a large dining hall and indoor swimming pool and a gym next door, a supermarket is also located very near the site which came in handy for every day items I needed. The staff we're helpful and engaging & friendly. Although the hotel isn't bang central to the main tourism area (although not that far) it does help you get a good feel for Split and what its about which is quite important to me

The hotel is very big and awesome, here rooms are neat and very comfortableones. It also has pool gym, spa and massage facilities. The breakfast is up to level of this hotel.The services provided are well maintained.

After reading the reviews about poor customer service, I was ready to cancel my booking. However, I was unable to find another hotel on short notice at this price. Upon arrival, I was buzzed into the car lot and greeted with a smile from Ivana. She most certainly exceeded my expectations of service. She was pleasant, professional, and efficient creating a smooth check in process. My room had two twin beds, which were comfortable. The pillows were thick & plush. You can control the temperature. There is a mini bar in the room. I did enjoy watching some American channels- you have to use the LANG button to switch Nickelodeon to English. And, only certain shows can be switched. The hotel is a 5 minute drive and 26 minutes walk to the Old Town. The walk is tolerable with children 8 and up. This property is a 26 minutes drive to Klis Fortress and The Olive Museum. The pool is deep and probably not suitable for young children without floating devices & parental supervision. It is a very nice pool nonetheless. Breakfast was ok. The kitchen staff were pleasant, attentive, and helpful. I was really shocked by the quality of service. My only issue was the cleanliness of my room. I knew towels weren't changed out as the evidence of filth was clearly visible. We were lacking wash cloths. The tub was filthy. The cleaning staff are not cleaning the rooms thoroughly. There is no reason why we left with dirty towels- good thing we had ours with us. Overall, good hotel-bring your own linen.
