The staff was very accommodating of our arrival and kept our luggage so we could enjoy the day. The hotel is inside the walls of the palace built in 305AD. The bathroom is not as large as American standards but there was a shower and it was clean.

Located right next to the Silver Gate inside the Diocletian palace, this hotel is convenient to all shopping, restaurants and even the cruise docks.
It’s clean, well appointed and the staff is top notch.

When in Split, stay here. Right inside the West Gate within the walls of the old city. One minute from the city's open-air market. Ten-minute walk to beach. Large rooms by European standards. Wonderful staff. Great outdoor restaurant setting. Standing ovation.

It’s an old building , but not of ancient significance . May have been build in the 1950s . To me , it’s fine. It’s clean and safe. It’s a bit expensive for what it is —although breakfast comes with the bill.

Two couple from the US stayed in this wonderful hotel 2 nights during our stay in Split. The location was within the walls of Diocletian’s Palace. The entire hotel staff including the hotel owner was always present…and helpful. The entrance to the hotel opened right into a beautiful courtyard/ square. The breakfast, which was included in our rate was off of a menu and served by a waiter. Even though the hotel did not have an elevator, the staff was there to carry any bags that we had. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent and served on the open air courtyard. We LOVED every moment- it was sad to leave our new found friends.

This is a hidden gem, hidden right within the walls of the old city. It's close to the ferry and bus stations and within view of all that I wanted to see on my short visit. The room was compact and comfortable and staff was great. Breakfast, prepared to order was provided and other meals were available.

Fabulous location. Extemely friendly staff who have gone above and beyond to make me feel part of the family. Comfortable rooms. Wonderful air con. All this contributed to an extremely enjoyable stay in Split.

The hotel has unbeatable location close to everything - It was a treat to stay in Diocletians palace - the staff were friendly and helpful and they have delicious restaurant serving not only breakfast but also a la carte lunch and dinner

The hotel was very expensive, 180 euros a night for an old fahion small room and a very basic breakfast, very little choice, and poor quality products. I was disapointed. The only good point is the good location.
