Hotel Mistral St Julian's, Affiliated by Meliá

First class hotel in the centre of StJulian. The hotel is immaculate with excellent rooms, all modern and very well appointed and maintained. The staff are brilliant, extremely helpful and knowledgeable always willing to help. The breakfast is outstanding as is the roof pool, sun beds and bar/ cafe. St Julian is a noisy area with lots of bars / nightclubs, so not the area if you want peace, it’s very lively and busy. The hotel though is a gem, centrally located to visit the island. Thank you for a brilliant ten night stay.

top location in party zone restaurants around the hotel open longer than other restaurants hotel from airport not far and cost around 12 eur using uber hotel is clean and new cons: balkony too small and fit for one person. wc seat is too close to toilet door. breakfast is same daily but good. hotel name and sign not visible but google map found it.

Loved that every time you came back staff would say "welcome back" and was always very helpful. Rooms were very comfortable, exceptionally clean and new. Hotel well located to bus stop to go anyway in Malta. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect minutes away from the party zone of st Julian as well as the port which is buzzing with restaurants . The staff are friendly they went above beyond in all aspects for me and my friend on holiday. Special mention to Gazmir ,Vanessa , Ines & Ivan . There was another night guy can’t recall his name all amazing people. Big thank to Tanya amazing housekeeper she was warm & friendly and went above and beyond for us so thank you . The room was cozy , comfortable, I would certainly come back to Mistral not just to visit Malta but because the staff were amazing . I have travelled and travel all around the world as travel blog as well on the side , I have Stayed in some amazing 5 star hotels but I have to say the staff in Hotel Mistral being a 3 star hotel is one of the best I have encountered so far . So kudos to you guys . Keep up the good work.

Professional friendly warm welcome from the first introduction from staff. Genuinely interested in making sure that we were happy with everything and always given great information when needed. Their smiles were infectious it was great to experience. Rooms super clean . Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Location perfect for exploring the whole of Malta. from our first day to the last we enjoyed staying at the hotel. we as a couple went for the nightlife and site seeing, the hotel was at the perfect location 5 mins away from Paceville with buses at the end of the streets and plenty of shops all around. the staff Alejandra who checked us in early and Ivan who helped us with the room locker I would like to thank you so much from the bottom of my heart you guys made our stay brilliant, a credit to the hotel. we requested a top floor prior to out arrival and it was all taken care of the rooftop pool is a bonus. we will definitely be returning again soon.

Excellent hotel in a great location near to all amenities. Rooms are new and cleaned to a very high standard each day. Staff are very welcoming and are very helpful. Special thanks to Inrs for being so helpful on my stay. Also, thanks to Iuan, Alejandra, Gazmir, Paul and VJ who were all very polite and happy to help with all my needs. Nice selection at breakfast to accommodate all my requirements. Overall highly recommended as the staff are great and it's in a perfect location to dine, drink and explore other areas. Public transport is around 200 metres away and very easy and cheap to use.

The hotel complies with simplicity and provides basic accomodation with nothing extra. However it offers a good sleep. Everything is new and polished, the rooms are spacious with a nice balcony and a huge bathroom with a lot of empty space, which could be filled with shelves or other elements for more functionality. All in all, for the price paid, I wouldn't really complain. The staff were all positive, natural, friendly and familiar, respectful and smiling. Nothing was too much trouble and they did everything with joy. With their attitude they illuminated my stay, spoiled by strong winds and rain. Special thanks to Alejandra, and of course to Sergio, he made more than it was expected. Although I always stay at 4 or 5* hotels, I was positively surprised by this small property and overall experience. Due to the almost dead season, the prices are really low and the area is rather empty, with many construction works nearby and shut down shops. It is yet to be seen, how everything works during peak season. Best: wooden key cards Worst: early morning construction works nearby
