I am a senior citizen of 80+ years. The toilet and sink in your recently remodeled rooms are not user friendly. The toilet is so low I had trouble standing up, and the sink is set so far back it was not easyly accessable, especially with the towel bar in front adding three additional inches to reach the faucets. On the first evening I phoned the desk to ask for a handicap room, thinking this would be better, and was given assurances our luggage would be moved to another room the following day. Next morning as we were leaving at approximately 8 AM, again we were assured our luggage would be moved to a different room. I arrived back at 5 o'clock to learn there had been no room change, and there was a portable toilet seat left in our room. This was unacceptable, and not what we were told would happen. We were offered another room on the first floor, but this room had the same child height toilet, and hard to reach sink. Susan, the Sales Manager, offerered us a room at the Resident's Inn across the parking lot. This room had one bed, and a pullout sofa, that you could use for a second guest, with "the linens in the closet". This was EVEN MORE UNACCEPTABLE!! (In all my years of travel I have never stayed at a hotel where I had to make up my bed, with "linens in the closet".) It is now almost 7PM, I am very tired and very unhappy. I went back to the Courtyard/Stafford, took the room on the first floor with the portable toilet seat and used it help raise me from the very low toilet. I refuse to believe no one has complained about the toilets before now. It is my opinion that the Courtyard Sugarland/Stafford should replace some or all of the toilets to accomodate ALL your guest. And remove the towel bar in front of the sink for better access to the faucets.
