Redwood Cabins

NOT KID FRIENDLY. Please avoid if you have young ones. Management charged us more for bringing kids to the cabin. But in the morning, was pissed that kids were running around. Was very rude in how they talked to us. Needless to say we won’t be going back again.

Good little motel. Older but its a clean place and on the river. Price was a bit high for what it was, but hotels were not abundant that night.

Loved being right on the bank of the river. All of the hiking we did was within 20 miles of the cabin. Would definitely stay again if I'm back in the area.

The showers were hot and the toilet worked just fine. The refrigerator was huge and cold when we got there.It was also very quiet except for the critter (MICE) in the attic of the unit which kept me up both nights. There were (2) broken windows in the unit. The door lock was missing with duct tape over the hole which made it unsafe. And the reading lamp above one of the beds did not work and it was also missing a lightbulb in the overhead lamp so it was not well lit. Because we paid such a huge sum for the room, I did not think it was worth the money and will not be visiting this property ever again. I do not recommend this property.

This place is nothing like the photos. The cabins are disgusting, there’s no kitchen and the beds are filthy. The customer service was absolutely horrible too, very unfriendly and not cooperative. Do not recommend.

We absolutely love staying in this river side motel. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The view and sound of the flowing river can be beat. It is maybe half a mile or a mile down the road from Stanley so it was quick to go get to restaurants but nice to still feel like we were away from the ‘crowd’. If mountain escapes, waking up to have coffee by a flowing river and morning fetch session with the sweetest dog are your vibe, this place is for you! If you are taking a trip to stay in and watch tv.. maybe not. (We did do a little work from here and the WiFi worked great.) PS do not let Titus trick you into playing fetch with sticks. He’s not allowed because he chews the sticks but he will get his toy if you ask him to!

It's time to invest a little money into the place.
