When you yearn for a different lifestyle but not ready to commit yourself to changes? For me, traveling is a way to get a sneak peek into “what would it be”, even if just for a moment. I feel incredibly fortunate to have come across Several Mountain Houses, and I’m grateful for the owners’ generosity in creating such a beautiful place and sharing their mountain life with guests.   Many guests have already praised the lovely courtyard, the nature-surrounded rooms, the sensorial bed linens, and the warm, earthy aesthetic of the space. I wholeheartedly agree. Beyond that, there was something even more special. I was wowed by the tidy kitchen, thoughtfully designed and completed with high-quality appliances and tableware. It’s a place that move your mind from “I’m staying in a B&B” to “I’m staying in a home.” The cherry on top? Having the owner made you a perfect cup of latte or cappuccino in the morning. Of all my travels in China, this is the first homestay where I’ve experienced that personal touch.   We arrived by Didi and had to drop off by the roadside, cross a wooden bridge, and then tackle a steep hill path.  We called for help and the owner came down to meet us and made sure we felt welcomed. My friend told me she felt like we had stepped into a scene from a web novel—the little challenge at the start, the homey atmosphere, the owners and their charming “career life to mountain life” story all made the experience very special.   I would recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful mountain retreat. It's the perfect spot to unwind and reset.    A small tip: if you're in the mood for trekking, head up to the Wulong Gorge scenic area and work your way back. If we had known, we would totally skip Baiyun (White Cloud) temple / village and spend more time relaxing at the house.

Super friendly couple running this homestay, better if you speak chinese but they can communicate n translate via wechat. The lidui station is less than 5 mins away! Do note not to take big luggage because the train exit does not have elevator down (lucky if you can find workers to help you, escalator up is ok). Super love this homestay, the place is on the 2nd floor. Find the elevator up near GY Coffee (good coffee!) and the unfinished train exit. Owner helped us with the luggage to 3rd floor, keep our other luggage on the 1st floor and provided us with a nice guide on yummy eats! Craving for 豆浆馍馍, the red kiwis of dujiangyan and roasted chestnuts now 😆 the balcony was also a nice touch, we ate noodles there one night. We loved our stay here and dujiangyan so much. Would love to visit and stay here again! It’s so laid back and the food is good. Amenities and water given. Bath tub was a plus after a long walking day. Fridge is on the 1st floor. Very close to the panda selfie and around 15 mins to the ancient town. Didi is very convenient, around 10 mins by car to panda valley. Yummy fruit store across as well!

The hosts are super sweet. A couple minutes walk from railway station. Super clean and nice view. I really recommend it and will be back there again. The location of the homestay might be a little confused, and there is no English name in front of the elevator, but it is still not too hard to find it.

Perfect stay. If I can get 100 stars, the hotel is desevered it. I’ve never been at any hotel as clean as this hotel. Super clean and super comfortable. The location: near Nanqiao (South Bridge) and Ancient Town (3-5 mins walking). The room: clean and really comfortable. The hot spring also the perfect bonus where you can relax after walking day. So interesting and enjoying. The staff: I would like to say thank to the host, he even supported me a lot before I booked his hotel and come to his hotel. During the stay, he always supports us, helps us a lot. The lady in the house also tried her best to show us the really good restaurant for breakfast even though her English is not good. Overall, this is the best hotel of our trip.

酒店裡融創很近，步行20分鐘就到，周邊吃的挺多，樓下的黃醪糟還不錯。房間總體還行，比較安靜。平時的話價格應該衹有目前的一半不到，但國慶節確實漲價不少。

I booked a windowless room thinking that one day would be enough for visiting Dujiangyan, so would be in the room just to sleep. To my surprise, the room was compact but quite functional, very clean, with sanitized bath towels, clean and skin friendly bed linens. I thought I would feel claustrophobic in a windowless room, but surprisingly it was quite well-ventilated with an exhaust fan, and I was able to rest very well, just like when I stayed in a cave hotel in Kapadoccia, Turkey. Perhaps because I was at the this hotel in early November, the temperature inside the room was quite pleasant, and didn't need to use the air conditioning. I wouldn't know what it would be like to be in this windowless room in the summer. We didn't have any problems with noise, but I noticed that it doesn't have soundproofing. The only thing I didn't like is that the room I was given doesn't have a shower stall, so after using the shower, the bathroom is flooded with water, and if you step in with your shoes to use the toilet, the whole room gets splashed with water
