"It’s 7 days hotel, I don’t know what the premium should be but I would say that the location is great, barely 5 minutes walk to the church. Otherwise the room is basic and old. It was warm enough inside. The downside is that you can hear the people in the rooms next to you even when they are just talking. If you just need a place to sleep while in Harbin this is a good choice in terms of value for money."

"I chose this hotel because it offers free airport transfer. I arrived around midnight and left early in the morning, yet the host was still very kind and helpful with the pickup and drop-off. The room was clean, cozy, and even better than I expected, with everything well prepared, eg. drinking water, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo, etc. I also appreciated the thoughtful detail of having the table corners covered to prevent scratches. Overall, it was indeed a pleasant stay."

"The hotel location is really the plus point as there are a lot of muslim food since it is near the mosque. The room is simple and clean. The train station is just in front if the hotel. Next to the hotel there is a coffee shop selling all halal food, The food was really delicious with lots of variety to choose from. Right behind the mosque also a row of halal food and halal convinient store. We bought the halal sausages and cup noodles from there to bring to Snow Valley and Snow Town for our 3 nights stay as there are no Halal food there."

The hotel owner gave us a room upgrade at no additional cost. The room was clean and warm. This hotel also have a restaurant and the food is very delicious. The owner led us in making candied hawthorns/tanghulu, besides that they also took us to experience activities like iron flower making, water to ice making and even they provided free sparklers. The location is excellent, close to main stage, restaurants and convenience stores. I highly recommend to stay in this hotel.

去霧凇嶺也是老闆帶隊，一路上帶玩、幫拍照、教滑雪，南方人實在的體驗了一把在雪地裏瘋玩的快感！
當然了，住宿環境也很有特色，東北大暖炕，一覺到天亮，早上起來還有粥吃（太幸福了）

Special thanks to Qiu Jie, who was always responsive and patient in answering our many questions via WeChat — her support made planning everything so much smoother. We’re also deeply grateful to the boss, Hongbo, for his warm hospitality and genuine care; it truly felt like staying with family rather than at a commercial accommodation.
Everyone we met — including the chef and our drivers — was extremely kind, friendly, and attentive. They were always ready to help with arrangements such as transportation and ticket bookings, and did so with great sincerity. We were also thoughtfully provided with frozen fruits, which was a lovely and refreshing treat after spending time outdoors in the cold.
The location is about a 2-hour drive from Snow Town, and we loved being away from the busy, crowded tourist area. The peaceful rural surroundings allowed us to experience local life at a slower pace, complemented by delicious farm-to-table home-cooked meals. The hosts even taught us how to do the hot water splash, which was a fun and memorable experience in the freezing winter weather. As a bonus, there’s also a cute little deer in the backyard, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to our stay.
They helped us book a visit to Gou Xiong Ling (¥400 per person, inclusive of transportation, entrance fee, and all rides). The snow activities — snowmobiling, snow tubing, snow drifting — were great fun, and we appreciated that photos and videos were taken and shared with us afterward.
In addition, they assisted with ticketing and arrangements for our visit to Snow Town, including crossing Yangcaoshan by horse-drawn sled, taking a snowmobile up the mountain, and then a jeep ride down (with the option to walk down as well). Transportation back from Snow Town was also smoothly arranged.
Overall, this stay offered not just comfort, but a truly warm, authentic, and thoughtfully curated experience. Highly recommended for travelers who value genuine hospitality, local experiences, and a peaceful alternative to the crowds of Snow Town.

MM760246****強烈安利給計劃去雪谷的朋友！楠楠民宿位置絕了，離滑雪場直線距離超近，滑雪累了轉身就能回屋歇腳。老闆是本地人，帶玩超專業，幫忙訂的景點門票比網上便宜，還安排了景區內免費接送，不用拖着行李趕路。房間設施齊全，獨立衞浴、一次性用品樣樣配齊，大炕能住 2-4 人，家庭出遊或和朋友同行都合適。餐廳的鐵鍋燉和鍋包肉超地道，食材新鮮入味，性價比直接拉滿，住完完全不想換地方！

MMisafir KullanıcıHarbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly.
The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon.
The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price.
I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing.
The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games.
It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel.
Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

NNatDiscoversAsiaI recently stayed at this business hotel in Harbin for two nights, booking the most economical option - the Comfy Queen room. Going in, I understood this was a basic, no-frills accommodation, and I was prepared for that level of service. However, several significant issues made this stay far more frustrating than it needed to be.
The cheapest tier comes without a window, which I had accepted when booking. What the hotel failed to mention anywhere in the listing is that these budget rooms are located on the 8th floor, but the elevator only goes up to the 7th floor. This means every check in and out requires climbing a TWO full flight of stairs with your luggage. Had I known this critical detail upfront, I would have either chosen a more expensive room or, more likely, selected a different hotel entirely. This information should be clearly disclosed during booking, as it’s a significant accessibility and convenience issue, especially for travelers with heavy bags or mobility concerns.
The most irritating incident occurred on my second night. After spending the day exploring Harbin in freezing temperatures, exhausted and literally frozen solid, I returned to find my room key card had been deactivated. This meant I had to climb down the stairs from the 8th floor, take the elevator down from the 7th floor to reception, wait while staff sorted out their mistake, then reverse the entire journey - elevator up to 7th, stairs up to 8th. This was completely avoidable and purely the result of careless staff work. When you’re already cold and tired, being forced to make this unnecessary journey because of administrative incompetence is genuinely maddening.
Adding insult to injury, I discovered after my stay that there are much better hotel options directly at the metro and high-speed rail (HSR) exits. These alternatives offer superior convenience without the stair-climbing requirement as I’ve stayed in some of those chains before.. The location of this hotel doesn’t offer any particular advantages to compensate for its drawbacks, making the choice to stay here even more regrettable.
For my next trip to Harbin, I’ll be choosing one of the hotels that are closer to HSR or metro exits. Unless you specifically need to be in this exact location and are booking a higher-tier room with elevator access, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere if the cost difference is not much. There are simply better value options available that won’t leave you climbing stairs multiple times a day or dealing with preventable administrative hassles.

Eeve888The accomodation is basic and clean. The toilet and shower room use a frosted type of glass so you might need to consider it if you are share with opposite gender. Hot shower, heater, hairdryer was all good. There are no elavator so if you have a big luggage you can ask help to carry your luggage to the upper floor.
Location is a full mark for me as the Zhangdajie Exit 1 Metro is just across the road from the hostel. Hongzhuan Morning Market is just two blocks behind and Zhongyang Street is a 5minute walk. For those wanting halal food, there is a halal eatery just around the corner of this block and there is also Dada Mosque. You can take the metro to Harbin Mosque statuon which is 4 stops away for 2Yuan. Sundry shop are just across the road if you need to buy anything.
I would recommend this place for those looking for a budget stay and that will be spending most of the times outdoors as this room is an the smaller size.

However, it was sad to see that many parts of the hostel were no longer lively. I chose a room with a window, but it didn't get any sunlight. It must have once been a place filled with travelers' souls and memories from the past.
