"Excellent staff that are extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. Helped us fix issues with our WeChat by accompanying us to buy a local SIM card, which we are very grateful for. Also helped us plan our day trip to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and offered free self-service laundry too. Hotel is well located just outside the ancient town and a 20 minute walk from the main bus station. Lots of local restaurants nearby. Comfortable, clean, spacious hotel room. However, while there was no smoking allowed in the rooms, you could still smell lingering smoke there. Not strong enough for us to complain about it, but noticeable when you first walk in. Free water bottles provided at reception."

"Beautiful decorated hostel, provides a sense of peace. My room had a huge window towards the trees. Was very nice to wake up to it. The worker didnt speak English but was very helpful! He helped me with everything and we manage with the translator. Close to the ancient town."

"The location is great as you are near the pick up points for the buses to the snow mountain and tiger leaping gorge. The rooms won’t be cleaned during your stay but they do empty the bins. If your room is facing the street, then ask for another room as it is incredibly noisy throughout the night. I think this is a good hotel if you just need a drop off point to explore Lijiang."

"This hotel is very well-known, and I chose it immediately after reading the great reviews—especially about the famous host, Jack. He is fluent in English, very easy to communicate with, and extremely helpful. He guided us on where to stop and even helped carry our heavy luggage, as the hotel is accessible by pedestrian paths only. The hotel is located inside the ancient town, allowing you to truly feel the atmosphere and vibes of the place. The room was very clean, with a beautiful view. We were lucky enough to enjoy spectacular fireworks from the hotel rooftop, and the panoramic view of the ancient town from above was simply amazing. Super nice experience. Highly recommended, and I would definitely love to come back one day."

"I had the pleasure of staying at Sarah’s View Inn during my recent trip, and I can’t thank Sarah and her younger brother enough for making sure my stay was so memorable. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure I was well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the essential amenities, perfect for a comfortable few days. Sarah was incredibly thoughtful—she contacted me via WeChat to check if our luggage was heavy and even had her brother come to help us with it. That extra touch made a huge difference after a long journey. The route to the inn is a bit of a climb, but the stunning view from the top more than makes up for it—it’s truly breathtaking and a perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. The location is fantastic, just a short distance from Lijiang’s ancient town, which offers a wide variety of food options. During my 3-day stay, we also headed to TLG, and Sarah was kind enough to let us leave our luggage with her for a day (have already checked out) , which was so helpful and much appreciated. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality. Sarah and her brother are a wonderful team—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with any questions or booking requests, whether it’s for tours, tickets, or anything else. It’s not every day you find such genuine care and dedication to guest satisfaction, especially for someone visiting China for the first time. "老闆姐妹人很好，給升級了房間，住在這裏像在家裡一樣舒適，房間乾淨整潔，用品也都是好的，樓上有一個陽光房可以遠看古城，太安逸了，老闆娘和她的媽媽都是納西族，熱情好客，我兒子和她家裡的兩個小朋友玩的很開心，住了三天，走的時候依依不捨老闆娘的媽媽年輕時候是跑旅遊的，周邊的景點線路都很熟"

"Ev sahibi, check-in sırasında bagajımı odaya taşımama yardımcı oldu ve kendimi iyi hissetmediğimde beni kontrol etti. Odayı ve banyoyu her gün temizliyorlar. Keyifli bir konaklama geçirdim. Not: Yatağınızı kendiniz yapmanız gerekiyor ve şilte oldukça sert. Çarşafı serdiğimde her türlü ”tüy” saç buldum. Yerde de bir sürü saç vardı. Ev sahibine haber verdim ve odayı hemen temizledi. Hizmetiniz için teşekkür ederim."

"設施：酒店設施非常好，比一般的商務酒店都要好，而且在房間裏單獨配備了一個椅子適合兩個人一起吃飯，水龍頭、淋浴頭都帶有温度顯示，全屋智能化，真的能看出來在裝修上是花了功夫的。 衞生：有一點美中不足就是房間自帶的浴巾因該是機洗的，硬邦邦的。不過可以問老闆要一次性的，也不錯啦 服務：老闆很熱心，幾乎每天都在樓下坐着，有什麼問題也會積極解決 沒有拍房間找片就隨便配兩張吧"
