I had a good stay in this hotel. I almost missed finding this hotel though as it had a small entrance. The reception was ok but didn't really speak english -- had to use google translate to communicate. There was only one elevator so at times, there are wait times. I got a double room with window hoping it would be bigger but it was quite small. It's big enough for 1 person though! Although there was a window, all I can see is the wall. 🙂↕️. I'm happy they had amenities that I needed -- towels, shampoo, hair dryer! They also provide 2 bottles of water per day, which is good! The surrounding area is convenient as well as it's near a convenience store, restaurants and subway station. I would recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness and convenience. 👍

We really loved staying here, but our check-in experience was disappointing. We arrived at the hotel at 4:00 PM, but the room was not ready, even though the official check-in time is 2:00 PM. The front desk staff informed us that the previous guest had not checked out and her luggage was still in the room. We were annoyed and unhappy, as this delay should not happen, especially when guests arrive well after the standard check-in time. We only managed to get into the room at 5:00 PM, after the hotel resolved the issue. That said, aside from this early hiccup, the hotel itself is excellent. The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to everything around. The room was very clean, and the smart toilet was a nice and modern touch. Once we were settled in, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, Tian Hua Hotel is an awesome place to stay, and we genuinely enjoyed it. However, the check-in delay should not happen again, as it left a poor first impression.

This is one of the best homestay i ever stay in china with reasonable price. The home design was luxurious, spacious and practical. The home looks entirely new, with all the clean built in cabinet. There are 2 rooms + 2 bathrooms, the bathroom water heaters are stable temperature, very comfort bath with large make up mirror each. The beds and pillows are soft and comfort, nothing to complain about. The tv with many free movies episodes, love it. The famous crab roe noodles is walking distance, we found another hidden jam 欧记大排档 nearby, the 小黄鱼 was so delicious. 八百半shopping mall and time squares are just opposite the building. There are 2 train station nearby, but the one to airport line 2 is slightly far, about 800m away with 12 min walk. But there is another line to lu jia zui is about 5 min walk. Nvr forget to mention, the building security was very good. The walking corridor outside the home entrance was so clean and luxurious, building was quiet all the time. The host required us to submit QR registration to authority b4 we allow to go in, all follow procedures. Remember to contact the host thru trip.com to get their wenxin contact for smooth check in. Nothing to complaint, except the host nvr reply me when i texted her we already leave the house😂. Very recommended stay and sure will come back again.

It was a quite small and cozy room with old Chinese vibe. I would recommend to stay to feel how usual people live in China. What I like most of all: it was not serviced appartment with front desk, but online team - group in Wechat created works very well and solve the question in real time quite effectively. they helped us to register in Police as foreigner (sometimes even serviced appartment with 24 hour front desk reject with it). The only thing the communication feels no so polite- ”commandarm style”, from the other hand this feeling could be probably explained by language barier and cultural difference. So I would evaluate this like 4.5 from 5 stars. what caould be improved: Or more precise it could be greate to inform the visitors in advance about everything. Usually properties shows not only property inside photo but also outside. It was a little surprise for us where the property placed. It was a private sector and I attached the photos to my review. They are the photos that were absent at description, I would say it would be good to inform visitors about this in advance. From the other hand in addition where the property is placed (in old private sector) the future visitors will have advantage of living at very center of Shanghai paying reasonable price. The rest of the photo at description are correct and I can I approve the condition of apartment corresponds to description and that is important. What I can add in addition. Despite on property informs in advance that property will not provide the soap, shampoo, etc, I would say to have a soap is more important than having toothbrush of single use, because it is very annoying to buy all stuff at every new hotel because of luggage weight.
