"This place was perfect for a quick one night stay after my long flight from the US to Taipei. The location is very convienent because it’s right down the street from Taipei main station, in fact I just walked there. The room and the facilities were neat, clean and the decor is so cute and welcoming. The staff was also very accommodating for my last check in, which I really appreciated! This was a perfect place for me to relax and decompress before continuing my travels the next day. Just for reference, I booked a private room which to My delight came with a big window and some Mountain views after sunrise. The bedding was comfortable and so was the bed itself! I would definitely stay here again."

"Its like going back home to your mom's. That is how comfortable and clean it is. From a clean comfy bed and pillow, to constant toilet touch up and refreshments, its perfect and comforting. Location is generally near to Taipei Main Station and bus station to nearby area. Its also near the Lao Chang Halal Beef Noodle and Peanuts 7E :) It is an all ladies hostel however they do have male staff attendant, fyi for muslim ladies :)"

"From my three nights’ experience with the hotel, there’s pros and cons from my perspective of the hotel. Pros: - great location, as there’s a night market just below the hotel and it was not far from the mrt station - when I first walk into the room, it was bright and cleanliness was still in my acceptable level Cons: - it seems that the daily room cleaning, they didn’t vacuum the room, but they did change the bed sheet - the sound proofing of the room was a problem to me, as other travellers came back late, I could literally heard what was their conversation - I felt that it wasn’t that safe for solo travellers, as the building was shared with the locals which means anyone could have gone up to any floors I don’t think the hotel worth the money I’ve paid and it cost me RM300+/night"

"There is a female bathroom and toilet. A lot of shower room so no need to have a long wait. within 3minute walk is a 24hour 711 not so close to metro around 4-5minute walk. Its quite convient for me as i get a bottom bed the locker just beside my bed. also the locker with lock."

"I booked a single bedroom with a shared bathroom. The location is pretty convenient—it’s near the 7/11 with Sanrio characters. From there, just turn right and you’ll find a few bars, and the check-in place is actually in another building across the street. You do have to walk a few minutes between the check-in area and the rooms, which can feel a bit tiring, especially with luggage. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes away from Ximending. The room was fine for one person, but the air conditioner in my room wasn’t working well. I emailed the staff about it but never got a reply. Since I stayed only three days and didn’t have time to go to the front desk (their service hours start at 9 am and I was already out by then), I just let it go. The shared bathrooms were surprisingly nice. Each floor has two bathrooms, and you can also use the bathrooms on other floors. I never had to wait too long. On my floor, there were six rooms and two toilets, which worked out fine. They also have elevators, so you don’t need to worry about carrying bags up the stairs. Overall, the location and facilities were convenient, but walking between buildings plus the unresponsive staff about the air conditioning were downsides for me."

My 2nd time staying here. Very convenient location, especially if you plan to take the bus from Taipei Bus Station to the airport or to other cities. I had some issues with the online staff’s attitude (the staff was a bit rude regarding my request), but the on-site staff was actually very friendly and helpful. I booked a 6-bed dorm and was lucky enough to have the whole room to myself on that day. New facilities, clean hostel, clean bathroom and good-sized room. Will stay there again.

We stayed at O Fun Hotel for 5 nights and overall had a good experience. The staff were kind and helpful. They allowed us to check in early at 12:30 PM, which we really appreciated. The room was cleaned every day, and they have water refiling station near reception. However, they didn’t change the towels or bed sheets during our stay. The bed was big and comfortable, and the TV was large too. There’s also a laundry area with a washing machine and dryer, which was very useful for us. There's water refill station in the hotel, so we didn’t need to buy bottled water. One downside was the pillows, they smelled like they weren’t dried under the sun properly. (My mom just used her clothes to cover the pillows. Overall, it's a nice place with helpful staff and good amenities, but there’s a bit of room for improvement in cleanliness. Xiexie 🙂

The place was alright but I think for the price, there are better options out there. Unfortunately, my room is the first one on the left from the lobby. With the poor sound insulation, it was absolutely necessary to have earplugs to block out the noises coming from the corridor. The room is generally alright and quite spacious, but the decor is quite old, and it might feel a bit dark and dirty. There are windows but they looked to be sealed so everything feels enclosed too. The toilet is also poorly designed with water going everywhere during shower. The common area is big with everything you expect from a hostel. Nice space to have chats with people or just take a rest. But again I feel that because of the decor, it might seem a bit old and dirty. The location is relatively convenient, you have to walk a little to the stations.

Geldikten sonra sadece bir sonraki taşınma için kaldım. Tayfun nedeniyle iki gece kaldık. Yazışma da nazikti. Uygun olan Taipei İstasyonu'nun 8. Çıkışının hemen yanında bir 7-Eleven vardı. Kahvaltı için bodrumdaki fırından ekmek almanızı tavsiye ederim.

Great location, a few minutes away from 西門町。 there’s 7-11 just at downstairs. Room was reasonable if you are travel alone. Easy to hear people talking from the hallway. Bathroom is small but I have no problem with it.

For me, the accommodation was very good because it was affordable, close to the train station, and there were many restaurants. You can sometimes hear the trains. On my check-in day, I had to wait quite a while for the owner to bring the key card to turn on the electricity in the room, but overall, I was still okay.

Only stayed for one night. Booked it I think the night before or the same day. It’s cheap, for a private room with TV and bathroom. It’s quiet. The front desk, was very considerate at the time. The regular check-in is at 3pm, but she let me leave my stuff and go back at 12pm. That was only about an hour of waiting or even less. Just enough to have my breakfast. They have a pet cat, it’s the cutest thing ever. Basic necessities are there. Not really a downside for me, but it’s still good to know that you gotta take a 22-step stairs, to get into the elevator. It’s just how it is. It’s in a GREAT location though. Like before entering the elevator, it’s Mala Hotpot. Before taking the stairs, it’s Family Mart. And it’s located inside the Ximending night market area. I’d actually stay here again when I come back. If I’d need a private room versus dorm type. The only thing that needs improvement is cleaning the entire room: they haven’t cleaned the under bed really well. Like I was trying to look for my slippers, so I bent down and saw the previous disposable slippers are there too. False eyelashes. Dust. Hair. Used bottles. But if you think of it, why would you need the under bed cleaned anyway? Well at least for me. It’s not a super big deal. But I remember some people have allergies and this might trigger them. So yeah. It still needs to be improved on. And it might become source of insects, bed bags maybe? or whatsoever. Oh, and the electric pot wasn’t that clean as well. I think we shouldn’t normalize that regardless if it’s not being used often by every guest. I to use the water dispenser outside(which defeats the purpose of having your pwn kettle in your room right). Overall, I’d still stay here for the sake of cheap price, quiet environment and its location.
