"Beautiful homestay, the room is nice, the bed and pillows are comfortable, it was overall quite clean but some hair was forgotten in the shower, no big deal. The staff was nice and helpful, they lent us an umbrella to go out when it was raining. The location is not too far from Labrang monastery but a bit far from the center of the town and the place with all the restaurants."

"Wonderful place and wonderful family! The best accommodation we stayed in in China. Perfect position very close to the monastery. Very clean. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with a snack of dried dates, bread, butter and tzampa, accompanied by some delicious tea. We stayed with this family for two days and they always offered us breakfast, the first day with house tea and fresh bread, the second day with coffee and fried bread. We spent the evening with them and they always kept offering us food and tea, always making us feel welcome. The house is wonderful, ******* style, wooden, always very clean. The beds are really comfortable, and they have a warming blanket. Inside our room we also had an electric heater to warm ourselves, which made the room really warm and cosy. The bathroom has hot water. You can fill your water bottles from the drinking water containers they have in front of each room. We always saw them cleaning the common areas. The owner, his wife and their three children welcomed us warmly like family. I will recommend them to all my friends. Really recommended!"

They gave me a bike to cycle to the grasslands and did my washing for free! Also dropped me at the bus station. So kind and lovely. And the owner speaks perfect English."

"Very nice staff and extremely close to the monastery entrance without the noise being too bad, tucked round a corner off the main drag. The rooms are spacious and comfortable - the only issue we had was no hot water for the first night/ morning - after we spoke to the lady at reception it was fine for the remainder of our stay. The bar area is nice, we didn't try the food but very cosy for drinks."

The homeowners are pleasant, kind, helpful and with lots of good will. The location is great, less than 2 minutes walk from the main street, about 10 minutes walk to Labrang Monastery."

"The house was absolutely beautiful! The hosts were very kind and friendly. There were very good mountains for long hikes right behind the house and the views from the top of the mountain were very good. The house was also a medium walk away from the Labrang monastery and we found it very calming to get up early to spin the prayer wheels there. We absolutely recommend this beautiful house and helpful hosts for others."
