"the food served were delicious, the place is nice . its just that theres no slippers available inside the room but the staff shes kind enough to lend hers. "Basic hotel at reasonable cost on Gabinete road. The Rovia hotel is quiet, has no restaurant, however, you will find plenty of local eateries in the Barangay Bancao-bancao. About 600 metres from the fishing port. You can swim in the sea there.
Nobody told us:- Rovia hotel swimming facilities are best in the area, partially shaded by overhead screens. Adult pool great for practising technique and stamina. Kiddies pool bigger than most local hotel adult pools. Lots of local children pay to swim in the pools on weekends.
Air conditioning works fine, bathroom sink has no drain plug, shower is quite nice. Kettle in the hallway for coffee. Wi-Fi disappears during the night, though. No fridge in our room, but great balcony facing the morning sunrise. TV is average. Ideal for small families with many excursions. We booked a second stay of 11 days in February 2024."

"If you are just looking for a place to spend the night and leave your bags, this is a great choice! Booked a night for only Php 511 (around US$10). Of course, for that very low price there is no free breakfast, no complimentary toiletries (but it is available at the counter and is for sale), the hostel has its own restaurant and bar, there is a cozy place to hangout outside and there are plenty of hammocks. Location wise it is great because it is just in front of the Robinson's mall where you can practically get anything (you can easily choose to eat there if you don't want to eat at the hostel's resto). If you don't mind having people talking after 10pm in your room or if you can stand the noise of other people preparing very early in the morning, and if you don't have any trust issues with regards to leaving your baggage. Then this is a great choice!"

"The staff is very accommodating, we were informed of the outages happening here in Palawan. Hoping they will have a generator soon for the power outage.
The place looks cozy. This is the most affordable, near airport, clean hostel you can find.
Got a good deal online where we booked for 2 nights was only less than 2k for 2pax.

"Total result was okay,the ladies was very friendly and polite,the room missing a lot of stuff though like there was a lot of things missing.no fridge no tv the only thing was available was a bed, 2 pillows,a tiny cover for night , 2 shower towels and a small closet enough for your bag.dont leave food at the room there will be eaten by ants as area has a problem with them,also killed a cockroach 😀
Soo if you have issues with insects it's not recommended for you...the price is very very cheap though but sometimes it's better comfort for money...and better lock your door cause there was an incident where there came people opened the door and wanted to bless the room,we was chilling in bed and forgot to lock 😂
Overall it's budget friendly but I would recommend it only if you are really short on budget..."

"Ideal for solo travelers and couples without babies. The place is squeaky clean but there is a shared shotlet bathroom. Still very clean. It’s located next to a busy road so I couldn’t sleep all night with the tricycles passing by and there was also a baby from one of the guests that was crying but not too much. If you like sleep and you’re a light sleeper don’t go there. The location is not great cos of this."

"Got stranded in Coron for another two days due to the unfavorable weather brought by tropical depression Kristine but it was okay. Zuric Pension was very homy and I never missed home while staying with them. I would never mind being stranded for a week or two. I could work in my room with their high speed wifi. There were no power interruptions during our stay but a generator was also available in case it happens. I will definitely stay with them again anytime and would recommened them to anyone who needs an affordable, cozy, clean with very friendly staffs to stay."

KKenDucsWe recently had the pleasure of staying here, and I must say it was one of the cleanest hotels I've experienced in Palawan. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to access local attractions. However, there was some noise from a nearby bar late at night. It wasn't too distracting for me, especially on the higher floors, so I recommend requesting one of those if you’re sensitive to sound.
The hotel itself is well-maintained, likely due to its recent renovations. The elevator, though small, was smooth and always clean, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The bathroom was a highlight—very clean and comfortable, although I did find the water heater a bit challenging to adjust.
Each room features a smart lock and a smart TV with Netflix and other apps, which is a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, even on the highest floor, allowing for seamless browsing.
One area for improvement would be the bedding. While the mattress and pillows were decent, a thicker comforter would enhance the sleeping experience, as the provided blanket was quite thin.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. While this may not be a luxury hotel, it offers excellent cleanliness and customer service, making it a great choice for travelers. I would certainly consider staying here again!

CCris R.I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out.
The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt.
There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options.
The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off.
I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time.
Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned.

Ginto Residence is a fantastic place to stay in El Nido if you’re looking for a central location. This small property with only four rooms feels more like an Airbnb than a traditional hotel, which adds to its charm. The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and communication is easy via WhatsApp.
The amenities are thoughtful – free water, hot coffee, and tea are always available. The rooms are freshly renovated and very clean. The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Corong-Corong, with plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you’re in an upper-floor room, the balcony provides a great view of the street below – but keep in mind, you’ll also hear the street noise quite clearly. This makes it ideal for guests who want to be in the middle of the action, but perhaps not for those seeking peace and quiet.
Breakfast is served in a local Filipino restaurant nearby and features delicious, authentic Filipino cuisine. The internet connection is excellent and very stable, which was a huge plus.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add a refrigerator in the rooms, as this would be very convenient for guests.
Overall, I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a great option for its location, friendly service, and modern amenities. Four stars!

MmischiefSai AestravThe Casa's location is just up ahead from the Coron main road which you can take tricycle to go anywhere in the Coron Town Proper, it is also near the St. Agustin Church, and near to BPI, Andoks, Pacifico, Maria L's Cake House and Café.
The Casa is basically and technically near to popular places, you only need to walk down to the Coron main road and grab a tricycle and jist tell the driver the place you want to go.
The room I was in were good to sleep in, the aircondition works, I basically turned off the AC when the room cool enough then open the electric fan.
You can use their kitchen which I discovered late but it's fine since I always out touring, I just wish that the care taker orient me ahead on what can I access or use.
I spoke to the owner ober the phone, he is not here in the Casa but still helped me to be picked up from and to the airport and the Casa.
There are no staff to fully accomodate you since this is not a hotel but more like a house where you rent room to stay in to sleep and bathe, but you can ask people who were staying here probably the care taker of the house to ask for assistance.
The place were not yet known to all because during my stay here and I had a booked tour the van couldn't find the Casa, probably it has no visible sign that the driver or the guide could see. There's a sign outside the gate but it needed more visibility and a repaint so that everyone know what is this place and its location.
The place cannot be seen in Google Maps since it was not yet updated to recent view so even if you virtually travel the streets, the area where this place is, is inaccessible on the map.
So far a good place to stay in to relax after a long day of tour activities and probably one of the cheapest.

MMisafir KullanıcıThis is actually a charming place to stay. I have to take full responsibility for booking an Eco room with no AC during rainy season in Coron, Palawan when it's hot and very humid. We were set up with 4 fans to circulate air. I'm actually chuckling to myself as I write this review. The room we reserved was around 400 sq ft with 1 queen bed and 2 twin beds for our son. We used the extra bed as a holder for our open luggage. It's larger than most rooms in this price range. However, if your looking for luxury, this is not the place. With no AC, no refrigerator, no hot water, a TV with no service, and no safe in the room for your valuables, it was a little more comparable to camping for our family. The staff here was friendly and took very good care of the grounds. We didn't use the pool, but I could see the other guests were having fun splashing around. I would not book the ECO fan room again ...ever. There was also a complete ***** in an adjoining room that must have went in and out of their room 25 times throughout the night, slamming their door every flipping time. I must have wronged someone in another life....

--IVI-Busuanga, Coron'daki Divine Castle Travelers Inn'e yaptığım son ziyaretimde, genel deneyimden hoş bir şekilde şaşırdım. Han, uzun bir seyahat gününden sonra hoş bir rahatlama sağlayan olağanüstü temizliğiyle öne çıktı. Odaların ve ortak alanların bozulmamış durumu gerçekten etkileyiciydi.
Ancak, bu hanı gerçekten farklı kılan şey, hafif bir tepenin yanında konumlanmış pitoresk konumuydu. Çevredeki manzaranın doğal güzelliği, konaklamama ekstra bir çekicilik kattı. Yemyeşil bitki örtüsünün ve doğanın rahatlatıcı seslerinin manzarasıyla uyanmak gerçek bir zevkti.
Hanın tepeye yakın olması, aynı zamanda rahatça yürüyüşe çıkıp bölgenin doğal güzelliğini keşfedebileceğim anlamına geliyordu. Günlük hayatın koşuşturmacasından mükemmel bir kaçış sağladı, rahatlamama ve enerji toplamama olanak tanıdı.

MMisafir KullanıcıCitadel (the name of one of the owners) is probably the ”best for the money” mini-resort in Puerto Princesa! My room had a king bed, was comfortable and included satellite TV, a fridge and sink area. The grounds a pool are clean, neat and look great. The pool is amazing for a property size. Even though the Citadel is located 1.5km away from one of the main roads and the Robinson's Mall there are small food stores nearby for basic needs. It's easy to get a tricycle from the road near the property to just about anywhere in the Puerto area. Do ask one of the locals what the fare should be to the placey you want to go.
Francois and Citadel, the owners are very nice and helpful. You will enjoy your at the Citadel!
BONUS TIP: Just up the road (north) to the left is a food store and cafe on the right side of the road. Inside is a dental office run by Dr Joy Zapanta. She offers a full range of dental services. I got my teeth cleaned for about US$20. I could see dental tourism as a future business for Dr Joy. Enjoy your stay at the Citaldel and get all your dental work done!
