As a foreigner, the stay here really put me at ease. The manager is outstanding. He immediately offered a room upgrade and he taught me how to use WeChat and it's auto translation so we could communicate together. Through this, he shared that they offer round-trip shuttle service to Shuhe and Baisha ancient town, which we ended up using and it happened to be very convenient. The rooms come well equipped with all sorts of lighting configurations, automatic curtains, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, toothpaste and towels. Also you get a magnificent view of the mountain unobstructed. Breakfast was included and is prepared by the sweetest woman. All those employed here are very kind. I had looked at many different hotels and inns in and around Shuhe and Lijiang Old Town and had ultimately settled on this place as it's conveniently located between the ancient towns and the Jade Dragon Mountain. I'm very happy I did as I watched people struggle with their luggage in the old towns. Here at this hotel, a car can drive right up to the door and drop you off.

We enjoyed our stay here, so when we returned from Shangri-la to Lijiang, we made a repeat booking at this place. The cleanliness of the place and the friendliness of the staff were the main reasons for our return. Location: This place is situated near the border of the Lijiang Ancient City. It is close to the main road (2 min walk) which makes it easy to meet your driver for airport transfer or any tour you join. It is also extremely convenient to get to the main attractions such as Mu Residence (5 min) and Zhongyi Night Market (6-8 min). You will be away from the hustle and bustle at night, and get some peace and quiet. Room: We were lucky that we got a room on the ground floor, as we had very heavy luggage. It would be very difficult to pull them up the stairs if we were on the upper floor. Every room has a different name, and shows that the owners put some thought into giving each of their guests a unique experience. The room we got was of moderate size, with a small sofa area for you to enjoy tea and snacks. There was also a kettle and four cups, and a 5-litre water dispenser that dispensed hot and cold water - I appreciated this, which was more environmentally friendly and generous than other accommodation which gave us 2 bottles of water (500ml each) each every day. The room was also equipped with heating, for the room and the floor, and they were controlled by the front desk. There was also a humidifier. The room's interior decoration was warm and cozy. Outdoor: We also enjoyed sitting outdoors, idling, gazing at the fish, watching the flowers bloom, while enjoying many cups of tea. Toilet: It was of decent size, with a shower cubicle that dispensed hot water pretty quickly. They provided us with everything so there's nothing you need to bring: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, slippers for shower, towels for body and hair, one-time face towels, hair dryer, body lotion, soap, detergent. Service: The staff was hospitable, friendly, and the service was impeccable. We enjoyed chatting with them over many cups of tea, and rose pastries. They even recommended travel routes and restaurants to us, which were very good, and we even got discounts or freebies by telling the restaurants where we were staying. It was easy to communicate with the staff on WeChat, they responded promptly, and arranged free airport transfer for us as we stayed more than three nights. Food: Breakfast was served every morning, which included a bowl of Yunnan mixian (noodles), a steamed bun, a hard-boiled egg, corn, and some spicy preserved vegetables. Every booking came with one serving of afternoon tea, which included rose pastries and a variety of fruits. We arrived after midnight and the staff prepared some rose pastries and fruit for us, in case we would be hungry, which was very thoughtful of them!

From the moment we checked in to checked out, everything is superb! Provided early breakfast to us knowing we will depart to yulong snow mountain next day early morning. Tea time dessert, night time dessert, breakfast all are good! Help us to carry our luggages from/to entrance as no car can enter inside the old town. Thank you for the superb services and hospitality provided! We will miss Lijiang!

We were staying in Lijiang for a few days and this was our Stay for the duration,directly in the Center of Oldtown at the Perfect Location. This is probably our favourite place in our travels in China. The Room was Spacious and Spotless clean. Since we were there in Winter the nights got quite cold but the modern heater made it warm and cozy.You also get so many snacks/tee and coffee. The whole Place feels like from a traditional fairytale With the Garden, the cute pets, and the hundreds if not thousands of Succulents and Flowers. Auntie makes a nice mixed breakfast and the Boss is super friendly too. The biggest Highlight was A Zhong though. He collected us from the Airport and also dropped us off when we had to leave in a classy mercedes. During our Stay he made sure we got everything we needed and more.Once we left Lijiang i lost my phone in Shang hai right before we had to leave the country, and he helped us to retrieve it from the police Station by getting us in touch with a local Police officer. Truly the best Guy there is. We will return to Lijiang one day and stay here again anytime!!

This is an excellent place to stay for anyone looking to unwind and catch the sunrise. It is approximately 15 minutes from the key sunrise (日照金山) viewing spots and about 30 minutes from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山). The location offers a thoughtful balance of convenience and tranquillity. Ride-hailing via DIDI is straightforward (there’s always a ride confirmed within a few seconds), and Baisha Ancient Town (白沙古镇) is less than a 10-minute walk away. For those planning to visit Shuhe Ancient Town (束河古镇) and Lijiang Ancient City (丽江古城), they are about 15 minutes and 30 minutes away respectively. Yundu (云渡) is well-situated for both nature excursions and easy access to the surrounding towns. The service is excellent—my room was consistently cleaned while I was at breakfast—and other meals (lunch/dinner) can be ordered from the kitchen at very reasonable prices. One of the highlights of my stay, however, was returning each day to their seven-month-old Samoyed, who is friendly and playful whenever he is not entertaining other guests. I initially planned to stay four nights but extended to seven because of the cosy atmosphere, convenient location, and daily playtime with Sanjin (三斤). You can also ask the front desk or message them on WeChat anytime—everyone there is so friendly and helpful. One day, they even surprised me with a bun from Henan, which was such a sweet touch.

The hotel is as the picture, new and clean hotel. Staff are polite and helpful. They also provide transfer car to /from train station or airport (you have to pay with the driver, reasonable cost). The bed are very comfortable, large bathroom. Location is also good, walking distance to Lijiang Old town( 1 km). Definitely recommend. We will stay this hotel again next time.

The hotel is very clean and located very close to the ancient city of Lijiang. The room is equipped with projector and TV subscription! You can watch your favourite drama after dinner in the hotel =D. Around the hotel has few shops that offers many local snacks! Be sure to try out =D

I rarely write reviews for hotels, but I really loved their service. So far, this is the hotel that offers the best service. A staff member explained all the attractions and food options in Baisha Village in detail. They provide afternoon tea, evening snacks, and breakfast—all included in the hotel fees. They also offer other services like candle making and baking classes. Unfortunately, due to my packed schedule, I didn’t get to register for those classes. Nonetheless, I enjoyed my stay and the top-notch service provided.
