Very noisy. You don’t only get noise from the busy streets below, even off peak hrs, middle night, dawn etc, as long as a trolley, PMD passes, u can hear road noise from the wheels, or loud bang, click of them passing the drain, potholes etc… Other than that, they have very lousy hollow wooden doors for the rooms so any opening or closing of any rooms on the same floor at any time, u can hear clearly… No auto wash toilet bowls. Big gap at shower room door so there will be leaks. Water pressure was ok on 3rd floor but bad on 4th floor (we shifted from 3rd to 4th floor due to some reasons)  Very good service from staff and lady boss. They were apologetic and offered discount which we did not accept as their sincerity and good daily coffee compensated on the shortcomings but still we will not choose to stay here again.

性價比超高的一家酒店！環境沒得説，安靜又整潔，綠植覆蓋率高，空氣特別清新。泳池維護得很好，水質乾淨，水温適宜，不管是晨泳還是傍晚放鬆都很舒服。房間隔音效果不錯，床品柔軟，睡得很踏實。大大的落地窗海景盡收眼底，冬日太陽曬進來非常的舒適，服務高效，辦理入住退房都很快。值得打卡！

The hotel location was superb! It was closed to the Zhong Shan Road but not on the Zhongshan Road which is a big plus for me. The staff is very kind and attentive. The hotel is very clean. Very minimal smell of cigarettes. If I to visit Xiamen again I will definitely stay here. Only one point (I know this when booking) is having no window can be a minus if you would like to see sunlight.

Given the late hour and festive season, we were concerned that nearby restaurants might already be closed. To our pleasant surprise, several small eateries within 50 meters of the hotel were still open, allowing us to enjoy a proper late dinner. It was a reassuring start to our stay. The hotel’s environment is comfortable and welcoming. The lobby features a bright, clean design with warm wood tones and soft lighting that create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. A tasteful display area and cozy seating space add a subtle blend of business functionality and artistic charm. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient despite the late hour. We stayed in the Premier Themed Room (Japanese Style with Sakura), which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautifully designed Japanese-inspired interior. Warm lighting, wooden flooring, and delicate sakura (cherry blossom) wall art created a serene and elegant ambiance. Wooden partition panels and subtle decorative details added refinement, giving the space an artistic yet tranquil feel — almost like a small ryokan-style retreat in the heart of Xiamen. The room was thoughtfully designed, spacious, and impeccably clean. A charming feature was the private balcony, which allowed fresh air in. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, dressed in crisp white linens. The mattress offered excellent support, and the pillows were soft yet supportive, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. All essential toiletries were generously provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dental kits, slippers, and towels. Everything was neatly arranged and well-maintained, reflecting attention to guest comfort. The complimentary breakfast was another pleasant surprise. It offered a good variety of well-prepared options, making it a satisfying way to start each day. The location is highly convenient, close to the Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Center, with California Plaza Shopping Mall next door offering numerous dining choices. Whether for business or leisure, the hotel is an excellent option. Most importantly, the nightly rate was very reasonable and offered excellent value, especially considering the themed décor, balcony, full amenities, and included breakfast. The stay exceeded our expectations. We would gladly choose this room again on our next visit. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended!

The hotel is pretty new. The room is clean and they provided the toiletries. There is housekeeping daily to clean the room but they did not make the bed. The room is equipped with smart appliance that works with voice commands to Xiao Du. There is a laundry area and guest can access to it with free of charge. However, few of the room that we booked, has problem with the flooring. The hotel quickly changed us for a new room when we complaint about the flooring that caused hazard. The breakfast is similar everyday with little choice. The hotel is at level three of the shopping mall. There is a lot of eatery shop nearby with a convenience shop opposite the hotel. In short, the location is very strategic and can access to all shops (e.g. pharmacy, lucking coffee, bread shop, milk tea shop, eatery street, and etc) at walking distance.

First of all this is NOT a HOLIDAY INN, indeed the hotel's name is SEP HOLIDAY. However on DIDI and Trip.Com it is listed as HOLIDAY INN. The real HOLIDAY INN is located about 200metres away. So please do not book this hotel if you are looking for a real holiday inn (IHG hotel). Having said that, this hotel does not need to call itself a HOLIDAY INN for you to consider it. We stayed here for seven(7) nights and will stay here again as it is very convenient, clean, provides a decent buffet local breakfast and is in a good location near bus station (50metres away), Metro Line 2 (Cruise Centre station) is across the road 300M away (there is a proper overhead walkway to cross the road, no escalators though) and you can walk to the gulanyu ferry terminal and sea world. It is also on the same side of the road as the start of the Mountain to the Sea Walking trail which is about 500metres away. Short, since the trail itself is 23km. The rooms are decent size (We got a corner unit room 8403 on the 4th floor), attached bathroom with all the amenities for 2 persons with hot shower and cold air conditioning with free cable tv and wifi and lots of power points. It doesnt have a fridge but none was needed. No swimming pool and really a too tiny gym with just a bit of free weights here and there. So don't bother packing your gym or swimming stuff. But if you are looking for a value for money decent and clean place to sleep and to have a cooked breakfast before going out out and about xiamen city for sightseeing, then this hotel is highly recommended. Just forget about the HOLIDAY INN part!

The hotel is situated right in the heart of the action, with Zhongshan Road pedestrian street just steps away, making it extremely convenient for shopping, local food hunting, and evening strolls. You’re surrounded by eateries, convenience stores, and attractions, yet the hotel itself still feels calm and restful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering great value for the price. We strongly recommend opting for a room with windows, as it makes a noticeable difference in comfort and brightness, especially if you’re staying for more than a night. The bed was comfortable, and the overall layout felt practical and modern. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, with no unnecessary fuss. For travelers looking for a reliable, well-located hotel that balances affordability with comfort, this ibis Styles outlet does the job very well. A dependable base for exploring Xiamen.

酒店位於中山路步行街上，位置優越，出門就能逛繁華的商業街，周邊吃的喝的玩的都很方便啊，出行打車也方便，步行不到10分鐘就能到達中山路碼頭了，房間寬敞舒適，配套設施完善，衞生間乾淨清爽，雖臨街但有雙層窗，夜晚也安靜，服務員都熱情周到服務耐心，免費為我升級了房間，必須推薦了！
