"Very pleasant stay and top notch service. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff were very quick to assist and very flexible with our requests. Really amazing! The location is right at skogafoss which is really convenient, though the view of the room facing the fall cannot really see the waterfall."

"We stayed in a little hut which was very cosy and warm even though it was quite cold outside. The hut was equipped with hot water, stove, water boiler and cutlery. Unfortunately no oven but that was totally fine. The location was perfect: a few minutes drive outside Hvollsvollür. Would totally stay there again ＜3"

"💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! "Eins vorweg, das aktuell von Trip.com genutzte Bild zeigt ein anderes Hotel. Das Hotel Skoga hat ein dunkles Schrägdach und ist mittlerweile ziemlich abgewohnt. Dies ist, zusammen mit dem Preis, auch der größte Kritikpunkt. Ein altes Haus mit kleinen Zimmern für diesen Preis anzubieten ist einfach unverschämt, selbst für isländische Verhältnisse. Abgesehen vom Zustand des Gebäudes, den kleinen Zimmern und dem Preis gab es auch nichts auszusetzen, Sauberkeit und Frühstück waren in Ordnung. Für 50€ weniger pro Nacht wäre es vielleicht sogar eine Empfehlung wert, aber nicht unter diesen Umständen."

"It’s a nice boutique hotel and with welcoming staffs. The food is good esp the curry, excellent. The room size is perfect but the toilet is a bit too small. But well, it’s obvious nth we can do with that."

"當晚到達酒店時已過了8時，餐廳已關，服務員拿出簡單地圖耐心地講介附近餐廳位置。早餐是自助式的，比預期豐富，很滿足。酒店佈置很別緻，很多打咭位。有免費停車位，地理位置方便，距離熔岩展覽館Lava Centre 只有5分鐘路程。"

"Had such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. ."
