"This hotel may be a bit remote, but that’s exactly what makes it so peaceful—and absolutely perfect if you’re hoping to catch the sunrise. While you can’t see Mt. Fuji directly from the room, you only need to step out onto the road in front of the hotel to get an incredible view. I highly recommend waking up early to watch the sunrise over Mt. Fuji—it’s truly unforgettable. The hotel also offers bicycle rentals, which is super convenient. I strongly recommend biking along the nearby cycling and walking paths; there’s a beautiful lakeside area with stunning, unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji, and best of all, it’s completely quiet with hardly anyone around. The owner is very warm and welcoming. We rented a car so we didn’t need the free station pick-up service, but it’s great that they offer it—it makes getting there easy even without a car. Just make sure to buy any food or drinks you’ll need in advance, since there aren’t any stores or restaurants nearby. The room was very spacious, well-equipped, and had a lovely traditional Japanese inn vibe. It was such a relaxing stay—I’d highly recommend this place if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful with a touch of old-school charm."

Выдают юкаты (одинаковые для мужчин и женщин). Брали тематический ужин и завтрак, очень понравилась тонко нарезанная говядина кобе, которая готовиться на горелке на столе. Остальные закуски не понравились. Обслуживание очень медленное, заказанное пиво ждали двадцать минут и принесли только после напоминания. Просили в качестве гарнира рис, но его так и не принесли. Онсен раздельный, крытый бассейнчик и два чана одноместных на балконе. В понедельник людей было мало. Как опыт пойдет, но больше сюда не вернёмся, поищем что то посовременнее."

"The dinner and breakfast were great, and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. At first, we got lost while finding the entrance, but a helpful staff member made an effort to lead us all the way to the reception area. The rooms are big and spacious but a little warmer than expected for my wife. It is just nice for me during autumn. The room we had was in a corner, and it had a great view!"

"The dinner was really bad: -beef is fully cooked and texture is tough - cooked crab is smelly - grilled fish is hard and does not have taste Also, my room has 3 huge problems -the water in the shower area cause flood - there is a big spider found in the room. - air condition in living room is noisy The worst part is I sent my complaint to the hotel for 2 weeks, there are no respond."

"20 min uphill hike from Gora station. Or you can take cable train up hill for two stations and walk on flatland for about 8 minutes to hotel. Hotel has shuttle bus. They dropped us off on the way back. You can possibly call to pick you up at Gora station. Trip.com reservation options show you prices for one adult. It's very hard to book for 3 people to stay in one room to save money. I sent a custom request to the hotel exactly this - 3 people in one room. Trip.com charged me $270 and when I got to the hotel, they said I have to pay $300+ more for 2 more people. That was not clearly communicated to me by either Trip.com or hotel. There's a language and cultural barrier. In Japan, you pay per person - not by rooms. They scan your all passports of everyone staying - not just the person who books. With last minute notice, I had no choice but to pay more as other hotels nearby are filled up and we were very tired from 4 hours train transfers dragging our bags plus 8 minutes walk to the hotel. All in all, if trip.com room selections are not a perfect fit, I can't recommend booking this hotel. Custom messages are not recognized. Communication is lacking. You will get charged last minute without any alternatives left. For $570 a night, we could have a way better hotel in Hakone. The breakfast also wasn't memorable and you have to reserve it ahead of time. I would not come back."

"Personel çok nazikti ve her gün konforlu bir konaklama geçirdim. Teşekkürler. Temiz, klasik bir otel ve konukların çoğu rahattı, bu yüzden kendimi çok rahat hissettim. "The staff was kind and responsible. I had a reservation problem due to wrong room information on the booking site, but the staff was kindly replaced my room with better grade. The food was great. Japanese food option provides Sashimi. Tonosawa station is nearby, so you could arrive the hotel by foot, but there was a lot of steps so it is not suitable for baby strollers."
