"This is my second time here. The bathroom tile quite dirty. And there is some smell going out from it. If you’re going to stay overnight its ok but if more than that you might wanna give it a thought."

"A deposit of RM100 is required upfront before checking in the hotel, and they only accept cash or card. If it's paid by card, they will only return your deposit in 2 week's time, something I find ridiculous. Luckily I paid in cash so it doesn't apply to me. Other than that, I find the facilities to be satisfactory, the complimentary tea and breakfast to be adequate and the hotel staff to be very courteous. The strongest point is actually the location, which is right next to a shopping mall."

"Overall, this accommodation offers excellent value for money. The room was extremely clean, which we really appreciated. We booked a room with a private bathroom. At first, we thought the living room and kitchen would be shared with all guests staying in the villa. However, it turned out that the villa is divided into independent units with three rooms inside one unit. We only shared the living room with guests from the other two rooms in the same unit. During our stay, no one else really used the common area, so it felt very comfortable and almost private. The self check-in via kiosk was very convenient, as we didn’t have to interact with anyone. Near the kiosk, there is also a water dispenser, sofas to rest on, and a restroom, which was very thoughtful. We also liked the variety of restaurant recommendation QR codes displayed at the property. We stayed here with our 8-year-old child and had a very relaxing time. We would definitely stay here again whenever we visit Ipoh."

"Location in city center. Short walk to The Store. Opposite the famous Pusing Seafoid restaurant. Basement car park is provided. Ample oarking space. Room and beds are comfortable. Floor is a bit dusty. SK Magic water dispenser is provided at the lobby. Nice and cosy lobby. Carpet needs to be vacuumed properly. Breakfast is good. Wide variety. Super value! Highly recommended."

"I truly feel fortunate and lucky to have discovered this HIDDEN JEM of a Hotel! It is Centrally Located in IPOH, Malaysia and Shopping and Restaurants are closeby and within walking distance! The room was spacious, clean and with a very comfortable bed too! The Room rates are quite reasonable and a great overall value. I think what sets this Artistic Hotel apart from others is the 5-Star Service provided by each and every member of the Team! I had the pleasure to meet the General Manager, Front Desk staff and Room Attendenta and each and everyone had a positive attitude and genuinely cared if I was happy at ALL times. I believe they went above and beyond ALL of my expectations to ensure I was 110% SATISFIED with my stay. YES, QUITE FRANKLY, I WAS 110% SATISFIED WITH MY STAY AND HOPEFULLY I'LL BE BACK IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND WOULD LOVE TO STAY HERE AGAIN! ¡Gracias Amigos! Señor Ricardo"

We stayed for 1 night in this hotel. The room is small but well designed. The hotel is also aesthetically pleasing, making the small room not feel small. My kids loved the bunk bed. They turned a dead space at the entrace into a store room for us to keep our luggages so the room does not feel cluttered. Overall, love this place so much. Will definitely come back.

The standalone building we stayed in has two bedrooms and one living room. The family lives comfortably together. The boss can communicate fluently in both Chinese and English. Communicate via WhatsApp before check-in, fortunately send invitation letter. Everything was great! The place was very comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The house was spotless and cozy, making our stay very pleasant. The swimming pool was a nice bonus and added to the overall experience. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and definitely worth it. Will repeat again!

The hotel arranged for us to stay in a corner room which has weak WiFi access. I didn't have WiFi for the entire three nights stay. Furthermore, the bed was rather hard and the room was rather small. However, the hotel provides excellent breakfast and is located at a very strategic location. The hotel is very close to the Ipoh parade and within 10 mins drive to famous tourist spots like concubine lane. Overall, the experience was just alright.

The common and room interior design, decorations and furnishings are artsy. You will be drawn to snap a lot of photos. It's location is about 15 minutes walk or less than 5 minutes drive to the old town area. There are 2 nearby kopitiams selling delicious local food and good Ipoh white coffee. You can have a good breakfast there to start the day. Hotel staff were nice and always smiling. Stayed in the hotel in December 2025.

The location very good. You can walk to many famous restaurants in Ipoh old town. All not more than ten minute, very convenient. House is very big and bed is comfortable. But the smell from the sewer is very strong and extremely unpleasant. It helped when you close the toilet’s door. Not much soundproof,you can hear other guests walking and chatting at the corridor. It can be quite noisy in the morning and night when people passing by. The design of the car park is a nightmare. It’s octagon shaped - really challenging when you drive the car up to level 7 in one go. The management team quite approachable. They will collect RM300 for damage deposit through credit card. And will return in 1-2 days after your check out. ( I haven’t checked if I received the return).
