It was a memorable stay with my family as it was my wife's birthday. I booked it less than a month before our stay and I was only able to get the Attic room. The room was very spacious with 2 single beds and 1 double bed. Unfortunately, the attic room with veranda was not available on our chosen date. I also indicated in the booking that it was my wife's birthday so at least I was expecting balloons or a slice of cake (which all of the hotels that we went to provide) ready when we enter the room. But nothing, I'm not sure if they don't really do this at their hotel. Food was great and the children enjoyed the indoor pool. Though they offered free shuttle service around the property but since the roads are steep it may be burdensome to take a quick stroll around the property if you want to get some fresh air and a little bit of exercise while enjoying the view of the tall lake. We also played bowling and they also have table tennis and billiards as well. The property also has a baroque style Chapel which is perfect for weddings. If you want to book a room, better if you book the lake view if available. The interior of the main building was magnificent, with wooden floors and oversized wooden doors. The huge foyer with what looks like a handcrafted wooden chandelier really gives the place a cozy and rustic feel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the only thing is that they need to work on how to make the stay more personal to the guests. A little extra mile of having prepared something like a simple decoration of balloons and birthday greetings would have been nice. For a hotel that normally has wedding, birthday, Christening events they should have something always available for them to use.

We absolutely loved our time here! It’s easily our favorite stay in Tagaytay so far. You can tell a lot of care goes into the upkeep—everything from the garden to the decor is well-maintained. The bed was a highlight for us; the linens were so soft and comfortable that we slept perfectly. Just a small heads-up: there was a bit of a drainage smell in the upstairs toilet, but it didn't take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. We’ll definitely be back!

CONTAINERS-is conveniently located across from SVD Starbucks - with view of Taal Lake. It’s really an Eco friendly- green environment made with all different kinds of organic materials- from outside to inside. Local artists- including owners work ,decorate the space. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Nice bathroom. Japanese Restaurant on site is delicious. Air conditioning in rooms is ok - but a little noisy. Needs some air freshener in room- smells a bit musty.

Location is a bit secluded from the city center. Staffs are accomodating though not going beyond and just provided whatever requested for instance we requested to retrieve the cake and they didnt offer utensils or think about whenever we would consume it for my partner's birthday, The room lacks refrigerator which might be a necessity. There's only one swimming pool.

Lee Botique Hotel is well placed if you arent really going around Tagaytay. Is is accessible to the main road, and you have the option of going through CALAX or Sta. Rosa Tagaytay Road. And it is literally across the road from Concordias. We booked a suite. It was spacious, with a rustic cozy feel. The downsides to it is that the suite could use more sound proofing as you can hear the vehicles along the road from the bed. It also appears that there is a need to improve their balcony door, as strong winds tend to cause it to slam, which is not good for sleep. Also, the electronic lock on the appears to be malfunctioning during our stay. Thus, we had to get assisted whenever we returned in order to get the room opened. Finally, the property wifi leaves much to be desired as disconnection and slow speeds are common. The property has heated water for baths and its own parking space.

PROS • Convenient location. Near the highway and Tagaytay Rotonda. • Rooms offer a view of the Taal Volcano. CONS • Very old hotel. It hasn't been improved and maintained for quite some time. • No bidet in the toilet. Staff told me it was based on American toilets. Really? Americans only used tissues for their butts? Gross! • Hot shower doesn't work well. • Toilet doesn't flush well. • They provide free wifi, but there's no signal so the smart (or not so smart) TV doesn't work. • Their set breakfast is pathetic. Better eat breakfast outside. OVERALL IMPRESSION There are other better hotels or accommodations in Tagaytay that offer a better stay at almost the same price as this hotel. Better look elsewhere.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay in Via Appia, I love the place, staffs are great, they also have complimentary drink that you can upgrade with special turon for ₱150, it tastes unique with a twist. It’s a must try. And they didn’t mention that the place gets romantic at night!!! This is perfect for couples who wants to unwind in a peaceful, romantic with a great scenery. Forgot to take pic but they also have the best sunset 🌅 I love everything about this place, we’ll definitely come back 🥰

I booked a stay at Villa Ibarra to celebrate my wife's birthday, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The highlight of our stay was the stunning view of the Taal Volcano from our room. Waking up to such a breathtaking sight every morning was truly magical and added a special touch to our celebration. We were also delighted to encounter a lot of wild monkeys around the property. It was such a unique and exciting experience that made our stay even more memorable. The breakfast at Villa Ibarra was fantastic. There was a wide variety of delicious options, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. It was the perfect way to start our day, and we looked forward to it each morning. One of our favorite features was the cozy jacuzzi. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. The warm water and serene atmosphere made it a perfect spot for some quality time together. Overall, our stay at Villa Ibarra was exceptional. The combination of the stunning Taal Volcano view, the exciting wildlife encounters, the delicious breakfast, and the relaxing jacuzzi made for a perfect birthday celebration for my wife. We are grateful to the staff for their warm hospitality and for making our stay so memorable. Highly recommend Villa Ibarra for anyone looking for a special and unforgettable getaway! During our stay at Hortz Hotel and Resorts in Tagaytay, Philippines, we found the surroundings to be wonderful—peaceful and calm, offering a perfect retreat from the city. The rooms are spacious enough for a family, and the beds are large and comfortable, easily accommodating two people. The toiletries provided were satisfactory, and overall, the rooms were quite clean. However, we did notice a few small insects and some dust on the bed, likely due to the trees surrounding the area. Despite this minor inconvenience, the hotel is a great place to relax and unwind. The serene environment and adequate amenities make it a pleasant option for a short getaway.
