Welcome to Cranberry Hollow Cottage, A three bedroom, two bath cottage on an acre of land just steps from our private neighborhood beach on the east-side of Wequaquet Lake cove that gives you sun all day and photo-worthy, spectacular sunsets.This recently updated 1100 sq ft family cottage in Centerville, MA gives you a taste of everything that we love about Cape Cod. It was originally built in the 1940s and has a newly renovated kitchen, bathrooms, mudroom, updated bedrooms and living areas and a large Weber gas grill and dining area outside the back door. We recently fenced in the back yard with wire fencing and two cedar wood two-door swinging gates. The house is in a neighborhood known for walkers, friendly faces walking dogs, pushing baby carriages or simply exercising in the fresh air. In addition to a deeded rights to a neighborhood private beach, a unique feature we offer with this house is access to a walking trail around cranberry bogs. Follow the short woodland trail out the back of the property to a cranberry bog with a dirt road that takes you around two functional bogs full of growing cranberries. Then grab your beach towels and walk down the street for a quick dip in a lake or spend the day on the beaches along a pretty little cove via our deeded beach rights. No need to pack a car, just a short walk from the front door. (We love to spend mornings at the ocean and finish the day on the lake, the best of both worlds are nearby!)Have a boat on a trailer? Cranberry Hollow is less than a mile from the public boat landing on Wequaquet Lake. Wequaquet is known for almost year-round bass fishing, and in the warm weather, sailboats and power boats share the lake.
