Our home is located just blocks away from restaurants, shops, and bars right in Pinedale. It is a historic building full of charm, but with all the features of home. The main bedroom is large with its own private seating area, and the second room has bunk beds and an office area. This home is perfect for families or multiple people with plenty of indoor seating plus room on the charming deck. It is so easy for me to tell you about all the great things for you to do here in Sublette County: Bike paths, Walking paths, The Aquatic Center, The Mountain Man History Museum, 1000’s of acres of public land, off road bicycle trails, ATV trails, lakes, fishing, boating, kayaking, hunting, alpine & nordic skiing ( and lots of trails) & ice skating! No big box shopping for a 100 miles but do we have fun shops. The "Nested West" just down the street on the left, “Painted Pony” across the street from the courthouse, 307 Mercantile sporting goods, the quilting store, The Cowboy Shop (a favorite!), Bison’s Bounty has homemade freshly baked goods & gifts, Pine Creek Coffee a sit down coffee shop & Mountain Mocha Coffee a drive up coffee shop. 6 great eatery’s: Wind River Brewing (Pub), Stockman's (a steak house), the Wrangler Cafe & Heart & Soul Cafe the BEST breakfast menus(!), 2 Mexican Restaurants (Los Cobos & The Pato) & 1 Chinese cuisine. I love them ALL personally! Our cabin located in Big Piney Wyoming is a large common space that is perfect for enjoying after a day of fishing in the area. Our cabin is conveniently situated perfectly between the upper green river, and the lower tailwater "fontanelle" section downstream which does not offer any nearby lodging or services. The cabin has 4 beds (queen) and a pull out futon to comfortably sleep 5 and can sleep 8 between couch and blow up mattresses provided. For fisherman tryin to enjoy all portions of the green in what is a large area with logistical issues for lodging- we are right in the center of it all to allow for you to have a short drive to the fishing both above and below the reservoir. (15-40 minutes depending on section), You will appreciate the vibe set by the large common area that feels right after a day enjoyed outdoors.
