The staff is super charming and kind and helpful
The location is in the newly developed ”old street” which is very charming. In the area there are many restaurants and some bars. Yet the hotel is very quiet.
There is underground parking and a lift directly from parking to hotel floors.
The room is very well designed and well equipped.
I particularly loved the fact that although I arrived around midnight I was able to give my clothes for washing and they were ready when I woke up. They have a washing machine with a dryer function. And I really needed some laundry after two weeks of travel across South Korea.
The 2pm check out was also quite amazing as I was super tired after my long journey day before"

"The location of The Hampton by Hilton Lanzhou Shopping Center is very suitable for visitors of LanZhou. The metro line 1 is 2 to 3 minutes walk from the hotel. You can easily get a taxi or order a DIDi in front of the hotel. The breakfast on the 3rd floor is plentiful and delicious. The breakfast staffs work very hard to accommodate every guest’s needs and requests. The housekeepers work diligently and keep the place clean with well supplied, especially the toilet which is shiny everyday. The front desk girls are friendly, polite and receptive. My husband and I will definitely stand here when we visit Lanzhou again."

"Very nice hotel with lovely and helpful staff. A bit faded glory. The carpet was dirty, bathroom leaking. Not all the facilities on Trip.com were available. There was no restaurant for the evening and no laundry service. Because I travel long and light, that was very inconvenient. Breakfast was a huge viraity of dishes, but the quality was soso. We would prefer less viriaty and more quality and maymy then also less empty dishes."

"青甘環線結束，覺得蘭州應該逛一逛，定了這家酒店，真的很滿意，本來定了三晚，臨時改了行程，改成兩晚，酒店很痛快就答應了。家庭房的衞生間是三個房間，非常方便，酒店位置也很好，1.2號地鐵都可以做，而且樓下就是國芳百貨，對面是萬象滙，從酒店走10分鐘左右就可以做機場大巴。酒店早餐也不錯，主要是到早上10點，非常方便。"

Big, spacious, modern room with a nice shower and comfy bed. Great desk area with city views!
Wifi was a little inconvenient (having to scan and sign up) and stopped working after I left and returned to the room later (however staff were very helpful so I'm sure if I asked for help it would have been resolved!)
A decent breakfast selection. It would benefit from adding coffee (American etc.) - currently there is a pre-mixed white coffee machine.
Would recommend the hotel :-)"

LLux.EA brilliant hotel in the best location. Walking around the old of Lanzhou whenever I felt was convenient, aesthetically pleasing and fun. The rooms are comfortable and well designed. The service efficient and responsive. The only thing which was hard for me, even though I was given a non-smoking room, was the entire hotel smelled like an ashtray. It's in the air-vent because I'm sure people smoke in designated non-smoking rooms all the time.

NNikoas4Some people in the stuff speak english. The name of the hotel is Madison Hotel, not the one that trip says (but the photos on Trip show it). It's a 20min walk from the train station but that's because next to the train station there's nothing. In front of the hotel there's a bus stop for many bus lines. Unfortunately lanzhou (at the time of my review) only has 2 subway lines and it's easier to move by bus even though the traffic in the city is maddening. The hotel is extremly luxurious and there are also washing machines and dryers. This is the birthplace of Jiafei make sure to visit all the places she has been to during your stay.

Great location to be based from with easy access to all the nice tourist attractions. The staff also very welcoming and responsive. Would stay here again if I come back to Lanzhou

MMichael V.People at the reception were friendly and very helpful. The room with a large window has great view over the Yellow River and was fine, everything worked well, as to be expected from Atour. We arrived very late in the night, when the restaurant was closing, but we were told where we could still get some night snack (the famous Lanzhou beef noodles, very tasty) about 12min. walk along the river to the left. The hotel has a nice rooftop restaurant, where one can enjoy a panoramic view over the city. A bus stop right in front of the hotel, or an easy catch of a taxi makes getting around town easy.

CCoach Patrick RedThe room is great, although this time we had an issue with the morning to the airport service. We arrived on time at 6:20am and there was no room in the shuttle that was scheduled. It’s very stressful to wake up early and make sure you don’t miss a flight, and they clearly overbooked the shuttle, even though we specifically arranged this the night before.
A rude family pushed past us too and the hotel staff didn’t really communicate what was going on. I appreciate the hospitality during the stay, but guests shouldn’t have to worry about missing a flight from rude other guests and miss-counted shuttles.

MMisafir KullanıcıI believe the hotel has changed its name but I can't remember what's it currently called as I only had a brief time there, checked in late and checked out early the next morning.
Even though my time was brief, the service at the hotel was great. The hotel is located about 15 minutes drive away from the airport and they offer pickup and dropoff service to and from the airport (and the railway station). However, I don't think there's any shops or restaurants nearby in walking distance.
The room was great with plenty of electrical outlets. All in all, I wish I had more time at the hotel.

WWitidaI recommend everyone to stay here especially if this is the first time you come to Lanzhou. The hotel located on 9th-10th floor in Yaou department store, opposite of Xiguan subway station. You take the lift of the department store and go directly to the 9th floor to check-in. The staff didn't speak English or some could a little but they would help you kindly and politely. When we asked for doing laundry they did it for us for free. The room was clean and cosy. Since the hotel is in the center of the district you can find everything you need and the zhongshan bridge is about 5 mins on foot.
