Our stay at 18 Homestay (Nan Yue Eighteen) was truly lovely and felt warm, thoughtful, and beautifully curated from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. They provided a map and patiently explained nearby attractions, along with personalised recommendations based on our preferences, which made exploring the area very convenient and enjoyable. The homestay itself is immaculately clean and tastefully designed. The space is bright, airy, and calming, with lots of greenery and beautifully styled communal areas. I brought my parents and aunty along, and they were genuinely impressed by how comfortable, spacious, and well-maintained the place was, it felt welcoming for all ages. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and plan our daily activities without any hassle. Breakfast was nicely presented with a light and simple selection. While enjoyable, having a little more variety would further enhance the overall experience. On our last day, we were pleasantly surprised with a small farewell gift, which was such a thoughtful and heartfelt gesture. Overall, this is a stylish, clean, and welcoming homestay with genuinely warm hosts. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back again when we return for our next holiday. From the moment we arrived, your staff’s friendliness, patience, and genuine care made us felt truly welcome. The accommodations were exceptional—our room was spacious with a large and well-appointed bathroom that comfortably suited two guests. The living room, furnished with a cozy sofa and coffee table, provided the perfect setting for a relaxed breakfast. Additionally, the laundry facilities were easy to use, making it convenient for us to wash our clothes. The entire hotel(being a new building) was immaculately clean and maintained to the highest standards. The quiet, resort-style ambience added to the overall comfort of our stay. One of the highlights was the scenic view of the magnificent Kaiyuan Temple which added a touch of tranquility to our experience. Moreover, the hotel’s location was extremely convenient—just steps away from a vibrant shopping street filled with local gift shops, delicious restaurants/ food stalls and charming cocktail bars. It is also one of the rare find within the walking zone yet reachable by car instead of having to drag your luggages to your accomodation. Overall, we highly recommend 泉州录莳民宿（西街开元寺店）to anyone seeking a comfortable, well-located and beautifully maintained hotel in Quanzhou. It was the best hotel I've stayed in so far during my China Trip. It offers a great breakfast, is a new hotel, has a very big room, and is the best value for money. I definitely will come back again!

The hotel is located in a central prime location in a busy but relatively quiet side street, very convenient and close to everything you ever need. Plenty of attractions,restaurants, cafes and places of interest all within walking distance. We had a fantastic time here in Quanzhou with superb and hospitable weather all through the week, no withstanding the taiphoon passing nearby. The facilities are modern, even an inhouse cafe/ restaurant which provides prompt services with near perfect tasty food and drinks. The room service on the low desk in the room made it the best and most memorable dining experience we had during the mini honeymoon. See the photos attached. The staff esp the reception, even the cleaners, went out of the way to attend to every needs and request from us, always with a smile and highly professional disposition. I personally saw how they handled a particularly difficult client with such grace and calmness, which settled the impasse pretty promptly. I saw the client a few days later who was full of smiles, satisfaction and appreciation of the level of comfort and services she received. I couldn't have been happier the 4 days staying and could have extended more days had there been rooms available. But I promise to return when the first opportunity avail itself. The only suggestion I can give is to make the slippery floor in the toilet more slip resistant. Perhaps with some thin layer of anti slip mat whenever requested by more senior clients like me. I was extra careful going in and out each time, as the water ponded easily there .

We really enjoyed our stay at Gucheng Alley Yu Hotel and felt very welcome due to the warm, helpful and patient service from 小阳 and 小王! The room was clean and really spacious, as seen in the attached photo, and peaceful at night. The mattresses and blankets are perfect, which provides a good night's rest without leaving us feeling too warm or cold. Breakfast is served at the Yalla雅拉 restaurant within the hotel compound, which serves a mix of Singapore-style (e.g. kaya toast) and Fujian food (Shacha noodles). Food is rather average though. The hotel is located near the Quanzhou Bell Tower 泉州钟楼, making it within walking distance from Zhongshan Road (中山路) and West Street (西街), and also near excellent eateries such as 德文虾仔面 in East Street. Leaving the following information to help anyone who is planning to reach the hotel by private hire car or taxi. Please note that cars are unable to enter Zhongshan Middle Road (中山中路) and West Street (西街) due to barricades. The nearest drop off points for private hire cars, which we managed to find, are at Quanzhou Hotel (泉州酒店) and the ICBC Bank branch 中国工商银行(泉州开元支行) near the clock tower. Both of these locations will be a good 400 to 500 meters away from the hotel, with Quanzhou Hotel being the less busy drop off point, so please be prepared for the workout carrying your luggage to the hotel entrance!

位置：對自駕來説還是比較方便的，這邊沒那麼堵車，而且停車場也很大。 衞生：衞生打掃得不錯，衞浴也乾濕分離。 房間大小：在同等價位裏面算比較大的了，格局也很好，動線合理。 房間設施：WiFi電視投屏都有，mini bar有水，可樂，蘇打水，甚至還有手沖壺 還是挺意外的 床：軟硬適中，對我這種腰椎不好的住客來説挺友好的。

This hotel was definitely up to standard. The location was convenient, and the hotel was easy to spot from a distance. We booked the hotel's breakfast buffet, and there was a wide range of food, there was a customisable soup station too. 😄 Inside the room there were LOTS of facilities like toys and toothbrushes. At times we thought that room was a little overfilled. 😂 At night there was even a complementary dessert delivered to every room. This hotel is a rare find, and a great family friendly place. We would definitely recommend this hotel to tourists looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Good location. We ate our dinner at 4th floor restaurant, food was very delicious and special way of cooking the dish

Hotel outlook, environment, facilities look brand news and neat. However front desk is too small and not enough manpower to service customer. Coffee shop Breakfast has many varieties and taste good.
