A Coastal Gem: Yicheng Light Luxury Sea View Homestay - An Unforgettable Escape From the moment we arrived at Yicheng Light Luxury Sea View Homestay, it was clear we were in for something special. Our stay in the Panoramic Sea View Suite was nothing short of breathtaking. Waking up to the expansive, uninterrupted vista of the ocean was a daily highlight, a serene and picturesque experience that truly lived up to its name. What truly set Yicheng apart was the exceptional hospitality. The owner's dedication to ensuring a perfect stay was evident in every interaction. They were always readily available, radiating warmth and friendliness, and proactively offering assistance. It felt less like a hotel stay and more like being welcomed into a cherished friend's home. The suite itself was a masterclass in modern comfort and thoughtful design. Every detail, from the sleek furnishings to the state-of-the-art amenities, was carefully curated to enhance the guest experience. The room was not only beautiful but also incredibly functional, providing all the conveniences one could desire. Breakfast at Yicheng was a culinary delight. The seafood noodle soup, a local specialty, was a standout dish – fresh, flavorful, and a perfect start to the day. It was a testament to the homestay's commitment to showcasing the best of the island's cuisine. But what truly made our stay memorable was the genuine warmth of the entire staff. They embodied the heart and soul of the island, sharing their culture and stories with genuine enthusiasm. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to engage in conversation created a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. It's a sanctuary of tranquility, luxury, and heartfelt hospitality. We left with cherished memories and a strong desire to return. If you're seeking a truly exceptional coastal retreat, look no further than Yicheng. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!

I had a very good stay at Healray Collection Zhizhu. The hotel is in a great location by the water, and although it’s a little distance from the wharf, the hotel provides pick-up and drop-off service. They were extremely responsive—even when I only requested a pick-up about half an hour before arrival, everything was arranged smoothly. The room was comfortable with modern facilities, and the hotel feels very well renovated and well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent—the cleaning lady was very friendly and would clean the room promptly whenever guests stepped out. Staff were always around and readily available. The reception staff and doorkeeper were also very friendly, always greeting guests with a smile and willing to assist whenever needed. The location is another plus, with only a short walk to the famous Guanyin statue. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to the area.

It appears efficiency is a key at this hotel. Requests were actioned very promptly. Cleaning staff did a nice job. Room was a good size and mostly in good condition. Plenty of stains on the carpet in the room though, and the room entry door frame was partly torn away from the wall. Service was very good, though it was four days before any staff so much as smiled. Efficiency but not much in the way of warmth towards guests. While some rooms are non-smoking, most of the hotel seems fair game for smoking including halls, washrooms, elevators, etc. Cigarette butts to be found and smell throughout. Apparently the hotel must be very pet friendly given the dog that was brought into the restaurant at breakfast. Acceptable all around, but not sure I would opt for this hotel again.

Lovely location, we stayed in a room with a Seaview. The view from the balcony was truly beautiful, we ate at the Westin (they offer a breakfast and dinner buffet), they also have a vegetarian restaurant behind the main restaurant area. Definitely recommend this option for meals, the quality is great and the buffet is from 530pm - 9pm. Access buffet tickets through scanning the code, don’t let people trick you into buying tickets at higher prices, ask for the QR code/ mini program to buy meal vouchers. We were tricked into buying meal vouchers through the hotel as we arrived for a slightly higher price. Then soon learnt that you can buy them for cheaper on their mini program! Beach access - locals need to show ID and pay 10rmb. Although we had mostly cloudy days, the environment is very comfortable and the food from the Westin was delicious.
