Here is the best hotel in Madrid!! I visited most of the sightseeing place in Madrid and almost all is around hotel. the location is lovely. definitely I will stay here again. thank you!

Excellent stay, just as expected from this brand. I upgraded to a higher floor and bigger room for a small fee and really enjoyed the room; spacious, stylish, spotless, and with very comfortable bedding and pillows. The in-room entertainment was great, with a soundbar for Chromecast/YouTube, plus the option to request a turntable or guitar at no extra cost, which was a fun touch. I didn’t use the pool, bar, or restaurant since I preferred exploring the many great dining options within a 5–10 minute walk. The hotel’s location is good: very walkable to Atocha Station (my main reason for choosing it) and close to the city’s three major museums. For getting into town, buses are generally more convenient as the nearest metro is Line 1; for Line 3 (Lavapiés) it’s a short walk, but the route is lively with plenty of restaurants and bars along the way.

Here’s a clean, well-balanced review you can use or tweak depending on your experience: --- Stayed at voco Madrid Retiro and overall, it was a solid experience. The location is one of its biggest strengths. It’s close to Retiro Park and in a quieter part of Madrid, which makes it ideal if you want to avoid the chaos of the city centre while still being a short ride away from everything. Getting around was easy with taxis and public transport nearby. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. The bed in particular was excellent, which matters more than most people admit after a long day walking around Madrid. Housekeeping was consistent and the space felt well-maintained. Service was generally good. Staff were polite, helpful, and efficient, though not overly warm or memorable. Everything worked, no friction, but also nothing that really stood out. Breakfast was decent with a good variety, though it can get busy during peak hours. If you’re particular about a calm breakfast experience, go early. A couple of minor downsides. The hotel lacks a bit of character and personality, and depending on your room, soundproofing could be better. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Overall, voco Madrid Retiro is a reliable, comfortable option that does the basics very well. If you value convenience, cleanliness, and a quieter location over boutique charm, it’s a strong choice.

Crowne Plaza Centew Retiro'da harika bir konaklama geçirdik. Metroya birkaç dakika yürüme mesafesinde. Ginos ve VIPS restoranları otelin karşısında ve gece yarısı kapanıyor. Junior süit, 4 kişilik bir aile için yeterince büyük olan bir kral yatak ve çift kişilik bir çekyatla harikaydı. Otel, barda karşılama içecekleri ve atıştırmalıklar sağladı. Odada ücretsiz Illy kahve kapsülleri ve kurabiyeler vardı. Junior süitteki minibar tamamen doluydu ve ücretsizdi. Tüm personel güler yüzlü ve nazikti. Nuria Pastor ve ekibine yolculuğumuzu çok özel kılan düzenlemeleri için teşekkürler. Arkadaşlarımıza kesinlikle burada kalmalarını tavsiye ederiz. Otel Voco ile bağlantılıydı. Ayrıca Voco otelinde açık büfe kahvaltı rezervasyonu yaptırdık; çocuklar için 15 EUR, yetişkinler için 19 EUR. Çok çeşitli yiyecek ve içecekler vardı.

Konum harika, Madrid'in ana turistik yerlerine yürüme mesafesinde. Otobüs ve metro istasyonları da yakın. Kahvaltı fena değil, ancak temelde her gün aynı. Sabahın en yoğun saatlerinde sadece bir personel var, bu yüzden yumurta tavası dağınık oluyor, kızarmış hamur çubukları zamanında gelmiyor ve kahve makinesi her zaman hazır olmuyor. Resepsiyonistler iyiydi. Oda çok temiz değildi, özellikle halı ve tuvalet. İyi bir konum, bir metro istasyonuna yakın ve kraliyet sarayına 10 dakika yürüme mesafesinde. En önemlisi, ses yalıtımı çok zayıftı, odada konuşan veya kapıyı açan birini duyabiliyordunuz.

The apartment was hugely overpriced. The location is nowhere near the plush area of Retiro as suggested by the apartment description. The apartments are tiny with no natural light. They are very dark and depressing. The water takes a long long time to heat up. There has been money wasted on fancy bathroom sinks and wooden floors when comfort should be the number one priority. The beds are really terrible and really hard. I developed back and shoulder pain within a few hours of trying to sleep on the bed. The human spine is S shaped and if you lie on a decent bed your shoulder and hip should sink into the mattress. This offers vital comfort and support. The pillows are really cheap and uncomfortable and in the two upstairs apartments you can hear the people in the next room loud and clear. The equipment in the kitchen is very restricted. Not enough knives and forks and the cutlery provided is not suitable. Steak knives all two of them to spread butter!!! Nothing to cut loaves or other food stuffs. Half a tea towel and no kitchen towel which is not practical to buy for a 1-3 night stay. Two toilet rolls, not enough for a 3 person stay. Considering the extortionate price charged for the tiny so called Junior Suite, the owner should have provided more comfort and facilities and the beds are truly terrible and lack of sound proofing being able to hear my neighbours farting was pretty awkward. However, the lady on Reception Mayumi was absolutely wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was kind and considerate and a real asset to the company. The male members of staff were not remotely helpful whoever they were. Not a place I would recommend and certainly not at that price with beds that feel like you are sleeping on the floor with a sheet and pillow!
