You will mostly likely see elk, deer, or a rabbit during your stay. Large fenced in backyard with small kids play set. Cornhole, fourscore, hammock and lots of room for your kids to run in the backyard. The house is close to unique restaurants & Tonto Natural Bridge is a 10-minute drive. The kitchen is fully stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, and a few flavors for your beverage of choice. Kids plates, bowels, cups, and utensils are also provided. There is a crib for infant/toddler use, we ask that you bring your own sheet if you plan on using the crib. Dog dishes are available as well as a dog bed. We kindly ask the if you allow your animal on the furniture, you put down a sheet to limit hair getting on the furniture. Please pick up after your pet prior to departing. The front deck has comfortable chairs where we love to drink coffee and watch the local elk that wander through the yard. It’s also a perfect place to catch the sunset as it illuminates the Mongolian Rim. The area has an abundance of wildlife and elk are often seen nearby or on the property. This cabin is the perfect mix of modern and rural living, making it the ideal getaway.When you enter the cabin you will be in the sunroom. This space is perfect for morning coffee, an afternoon book, or a quiet mid-day retreat.The small kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials. We provide a Keurig, toaster, oven, and microwave. Our kitchen does not have a dishwasher. The kitchen opens up into the living room where you will find a comfortable couch, a fireplace, and a smart TV. Netflix will be logged in for you to use and you may log into your other accounts. The cabin has several windows that provide a cross breeze of fresh air and lots of natural light!Guest accessThere is one queen bed with luxury bedding, blackout shades, and separate temperature control.Additional Sleeping:The sunroom does have a full-size sofa sleeper and the couch can be made into a twin bed. These would be suitable for children, but an adult may not find this sleeping arrangement comfortable. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs, as well as the kitchen, dining area, and family room. In addition, downstairs there is a second master suite with a queen bedroom set, an ensuite bath with a stall shower and direct access to an outdoor patio. There is also a full laundry room including a mud room accessible from the garage downstairs. The garage is 1,000 sq/ft and is attached with parking for one car/truck. There is a large driveway with plenty of room for multiple vehicles. The garage doors are 10 feet high so they can accommodate a large truck. There are four TVs in total with DISH network. The primary suite has an ensuite bath (with a bathtub, shower, toilet & double sinks) and a sliding door that accesses the wrap around deck. The primary suite also includes a large flat panel TV with a DVD player. There is a large, stone-faced wood-burning fireplace in the family room upstairs. The kitchen and family room are open concept with comfortable seating, a leather couch, a 2 chair loveseat and one recliner, a dining table that seats 8 and a pub table that can expand to seat an additional 4. The pub table also doubles as a puzzle table and is in front of the floor to ceiling chalet windows that capture the amazing views. The cabin is situated on a 1.5 acre terraced, hillside lot in a small subdivision of custom homesites called Pine Mountain Acres. The property is located above Pine Creek and looks down on White Oaks Glen. It is an area that is traversed by deer and elk on their way to and from the creek. Large and small herds in the area come right across the property, especially in the morning and late afternoon/dusk. This beautiful log cabin is located in Tonto National Forest in the small hamlet of Pine, AZ. It has 2 stories, a large back deck that is partially covered, and the garage is converted to a fun game room. You can cozy up to the wood-burning fireplace in the large living room. Named after our juniper tree that's over a century old, the Old Tree Cabin offers a variety of different spaces to enjoy your time in the mountains. Grill and entertain outside on the rear deck, sit and read in a comfy rocker on the front porch, enjoy meals around the large family table or hang out with family and friends in the rec room. There you have fun playing foosball, shuffleboard or just watching the game on the large Roku TV. The back deck of this cabin has over 1000 sf of both covered and uncovered space and includes a custom island with a large grill and lots of counter space. You'll find plenty of outdoor seating on the deck, and below the deck is more seating with a wood-burning firepit. Inside the cabin, you'll find a spacious upstairs master bedroom with a treehouse-like feel. The master bedroom comes with its own private deck, an award-winning Helix king bed, an electric fireplace, and an office area. There are three bedrooms, two with king beds, one with a queen, and the loft has two XL twins. The Old Tree Cabin offers a variety of sleeping arrangements to ensure a comfortable stay. Important: Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete info for a damage waiver through third-party provider Truvi. They will contact you via email and/or text to complete the process. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in. There is a $35 fee, but you are protected for up to $500 in accidental damage.
