The basement is simply FANTASTIC for kids!!!** This beautiful log home sits at 3900' and has 180 degree views of Grandfather Mountain and the surrounding area. Ample parking for 5-6 cars is provided in the flat, gravel parking lot. A short staircase raises to the main level with 8 steps. An even shorter staircase is on the left side of the home gives even easier access once you are there. Inside, you'll find a kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a bar with seating for four. The custom built dining table comfortably holds eight. The open great room has a gas log fireplace, leather seating, and a TV with an Amazon Firestick. Fiber internet through Skybest means you'll never have any trouble streaming your favourite movies. The queen suite has deck access, a ceiling fan, TV, and a private bath with a tiled tub/shower combo. Also on the main level are the laundry center off of the kitchen and a half bath. Upstairs is a reading nook in the loft. There are two bedrooms with a shared full bath in the hallway. Each bedroom has a queen bed and a ceiling fan. The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. All of the bathrooms in the home have heated floors. Downstairs is a den with a second TV and Amazon Firestick, seating, and a new pool table. The fourth bedroom is here, with a king bed plus a twin over twin bunk and a TV. The full bath in the hallway has a shower and a large soaking tub. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths.
