寶藏酒店。座落在蒼山腳下。環境幽雅有格調，設計師的眼光太好了。房間很大，設施齊全，打掃得也非常乾淨。多對一服務，酒店的飯菜也非常好吃。服務人員温和細緻，會提前溝通到店時間，熱情接待，並且提前調好房間温度。讓旅途疲憊的我們感到安心舒心。本來衹訂了一天，但是太喜歡了，又續住了。酒店裡有一衹小貓，小孩子非常喜歡，追着和貓玩。以後再來大理這裏一定是我們的首選。（實際比照片漂亮多了）

I had an amazing stay at Anyu Dali, and their hospitality truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even coordinating with the Didi driver when we were rushing to catch our railway. They went above and beyond by providing weather updates for our next destination, Lijiang, and noticing that we were unprepared for the cold, they thoughtfully gave us heat pads. As first-time guests, we were treated to complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, as well as four free laundry items for washing. The welcome gift was a lovely touch, and they even prepared a warm nighttime drink before bedtime, making our stay feel extra special. What really stood out was their attention to detail—even knowing that we would be staying at Anyu Lijiang next, they arranged to give us our farewell gift there, considering our luggage was already full. The level of service here surpasses that of many well-known hotels, and I will definitely choose Anyu again the next time I visit China. Highly recommended for those who appreciate genuine hospitality!

Had a wonderful stay at Mengling Yayuan Hotel in Dali from 19 to 21 December 2025. The staff were exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make my visit memorable—from a smooth check-in to thoughtful local recommendations, their hospitality truly stood out. The room was spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with modern amenities that made the stay both comfortable and convenient. I especially enjoyed the daily local breakfast options of noodles or congee, the relaxing afternoon tea, and the delicious desserts served in the evening. As we had an early checkout, the staff thoughtfully prepared a takeaway breakfast for our onward journey, which was greatly appreciated. Perfectly located just a few metres from the entrance to Dali Old Town, the hotel offers an ideal base for exploring the area. Mengling Yayuan Hotel beautifully blends traditional charm with modern comfort, and I wholeheartedly recommend it for its warm service and excellent facilities.

古香古色的新中式～忘記拍內庭院了，但是很大氣，挑高少見的高，一點都沒有一般民宿那種小門小户的感覺。 冬天也不用怕冷，地暖非常舒服。電視櫃旋轉的設計太棒了，無痛換方向，客廳和卧室都可以輕鬆看電視～ 最讓潔癖星人喜歡的就是店家在衞生間放置了一大瓶酒精消毒噴霧，天吶簡直讓我這個出門自帶消毒液的人萬分驚喜了（當然馬桶什麼的人家打掃的很乾凈，衹是個人習慣住在酒店民宿都會把直接接觸的地方都酒精擦一遍），可以體會這種大大的貼心！必須點贊＋1000👍👍👍👍👍👍 早餐也是非常豐富，蔬菜蛋白質碳水都補全了，營養學滿分哦～基本上吃完中午也不用吃，特別適合在古城暴走的行程哈哈哈哈哈哈 位置也很OK，離古城北門不遠，車可以直接到酒店門口。這點比住在古城裡方便，管家在門口迎接還幫着提行李，很貼心～

I had an excellent stay at the hotel! The location was fantastic, right by the lake. I want to specifically thank the butler who took great care of my room. His name is Mr. Jin Can (金灿). He was very helpful, he communicated very clearly in all situations, and he truly went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. He helped me out with great halal restaurant recommendations nearby, I told him about my expected arrivals and departure, and he calmly arranged both airport pick up and drop off for me, and on top of that he was courteous and sincerely cared about my guest experience. Also, I’m very grateful for the complimentary room upgrade! It was a lovely touch and I appreciate it. Thank you for excellent service and your warm hospitality! I will definitely be back either by myself or with friends!

Hotel Service staffs were all very welcoming and approachable from the moment we arrived until the day we depart. They had provided us with a free pick up from the Dali Railway station to the hotel and free drop off at the Dali Airport which we greatly appreciated. Upon our arrival, they assigned a personal concierge 小婷 who was very helpful and see to all our requests were attended to. We booked an MPV with driver through the hotel to take us on a day tour to Shangri-la which we had an enjoyable journey and time there. The hotel dealing with their service provider for the Car & Driver are very open and above board. We had made a mistake to make payment to the Driver at the end of the day instead of through them which may have cause them to double check us. The Front Desk Service Staff clearly explained to us and help to resolve the issue it promptly and professionally. Their breakfast provided had a very good spread and selections. They were good and nice. We had dinner at their restaurant after a tiring day out. Their restaurant Service Staffs were very nice and attentive. The food were all fresh prepared and cooked to our order. Even though there was only one cook on duty that night, the wait time wasn't too long. All the dishes were very well presented and delicious. We all had a thoroughly great and enjoyable dinner. Picking on some minor issues, we had booked 2 rooms with mountain view but allocated one with mountain view and another one with a courtyard garden view and half blocked view of the distance mountain. (Room 8106). This room somehow seem to be colder than our daughters room even though we tried adjusting the air conditioning temperature up but it just doesn't warm up enough. Overall, we had a very nice and enjoyable stay here and will definitely consider stay here again on our next visit to Dali.

We stayed at Lishe seaview resort hotel for 2 nights. The hotel upgraded us to a two-room apartment which I did not expect! The apartment had spectacular view of Erhai in the living room and master bedroom. I had the foresight of having one free and easy day and we pretty much stayed in most of the time to soak in the view. The staff service was amazing. The team reached out to me via trip.com the day before we check in (fantastic initiative) as overseas visitors like me are not familiar with the WeChat usage. When we arrive, the staff were on standby to receive us and bring us to the apartment as we got there via our own driver. The hotel sent nightly desert (white fungus) to our apartment. One important aspect of the hotel is the delicious and wide spread of breakfast. The breaky was on the highest floor offering great views of Erhai, and the lady attendant there was polite, cheerful and has great service. When we checked, the hotel staff came to the apartment and send us to the car. They also presented a farewell bag of goodies - including rose Chinese cakes (which were super delicious!), tea and sweets. It was an awfully thoughtful gesture. I had the rose Chinese cake during breaky and loved them. So I was super happy to find them in the farewell gift. I would strongly recommend a stay here if you are in Dali. Fellow Singaporeans- you would love this place! I think even if I did not get the upgrade, I would have loved the view too. Just keep one day of doing nothing and enjoy the beautiful view and the hotel hospitality. The hotel staff were service oriented, always smiling, polite and helpful. I mean every staff we encountered, even the cleaning staff! This hotel was a great highlight of our Dali stay. I would definitely come back to stay at Lishe when next back to Dali.

I cannot recommend Sunyata Homestay in Dali enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience of genuine warmth and care. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality. The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility. A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels. The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless. The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family. Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

Oh, you have to hear about my recent stay at a hot spring hotel in Erhai, Dali! It offered the most breathtaking views and truly exceptional service I've ever encountered. The weather was simply divine during my visit, and waking up to that fantastic vista of the lake and mountains each morning was just so refreshing and peaceful for the soul. The manager was an absolute gem – so friendly and full of brilliant suggestions for activities and places to explore. He even thoughtfully arranged a sleeping guard for the kids' bed, just in case, which was such a kind gesture! I also really appreciated how, when I inquired about a gym with day access, he personally looked into it and got back to me that same afternoon. And that evening, when I was ready to go, he had the butler drive me right there! It was truly a fantastic experience for my entire family. I couldn't recommend this place more highly!
