Hotel has a great atmosphere very friendly staff and the room is big and cosy bed. The breakfast is superb and plenty to choose from have booked another night there on my return back down from the Highlands.

Great night at the 70’s tribute night with friends. Rooms are spacious and clean. If you need anything reception staff are happy to help if you needed extra tea , coffee or fresh towels. The staff were attentive and work hard. The breakfast was excellent and the 3 course meal was ample. Would definitely recommend.

Had the most fantastic stay at the Rob Roy last night, could not fault it at all. Hotel, rooms, meal, entertainment and breakfast were all absolutely top notch, great value for money. Along with great friends, I couldn't have asked for anything more. First time there and definitely will not be our last, already looking at booking for next year 😁😁

This was a stay organised by coach tour holiday company. Not the best of experiences. Some things you take for granted in even a two star hotel. Not in this one. They don't do a room refresh, If you want clean mugs, top up tea/coffee you have to go to reception. Make your own beds. Food, especially vegetables was in short supply. Big shortage of mains plugs in the room, good job we took an extension lead. At most hotels I have stayed in there was tea or coffee after evening meal. Not the Rob Roy. Can't fault the staff, polite and helpful. Entertainment in the evenings was very good. Sorry Rob Roy, wouldn't stay again

Attended the Halloween party night at rob Roy hotel aberfoyle . Great night . Live band were excellent. Food very good . Staff friendly and efficient throughout our stay. Rooms were spacious , clean with large shower and bathroom area which appeared to be newly refurbished. Great value for money including drinks prices in the hotel . Breakfast in the morning good too. Would highly recommend it .

Stayed here as part of a coach tour and couldn't have been made more welcome. The hotel was warm and comfy although we did have to venture outside to get from the building housing the bedrooms to the reception/restaurant/bar area. Rooms were very clean but could probably do with a little bit of tlc and the beds were comfy and I slept well Food was lovely with plenty of choice for both breakfast and evening meal and the free glass of wine with the evening meal was a lovely touch as was the 3 free drink vouchers for each night of our stay. A 15 minute walk along a lovely riverside path and we were in the village of Aberfoyle with it's quaint shops and cafes. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel if you want to go further afield and the staff were very helpful with timetables etc. If I were ever to be back in the area I would certainly consider staying here again

We did enjoy our stay in the Rob Roy Hotel although a bit dated it was clean and the food was lovely. The only faults really was the shower . .. obviously had a piece missing and wasn't flexible.... we put up with it...we could have complained but they might have moved us and we were settled by then.. the staff were lovely Daniel in the restaurant was very helpful, we thought he was the restaurant manager but apparently not ... but he would do a good job if he was ! The bar staff were really nice the elderly guy possibly the "gaffer" ? Was quite funny ... very straight faced though ... it was a very nice holiday

We went as part of an organised coach tour and stayed for one night. Hotel was clean and bedrooms were nice. Food was nice and the breakfast was lovely. The location was good and very quite. There was entertainment on the night we where there which was a bonus.

I had the pleasure of staying here on a coach trip they were very friendly and the food was delicious I am vegetarian and was never disappointed or hungry The entertainment was great Decorating was perhaps the only thing it needed but it was clean and tidy I would definitely recommend this hotel
