Overall experience is good. It located in a very peaceful area and the room cleanliness is good. It is walkable to Durham international school if you have kids studying there

They had a simple answer ‘No’ for everything. Can I check in 30 mins early? No. Pay £15 extra. Paid! Laundry service available? No Microwave available to heat food in the restaurant? No It’s a very basic hotel. Not recommended for families. Asked to clean the room; they forgot to inform the cleaner. Even when they cleaned the room the next day, they just changed the linen. Everything else was as is. Poor experience overall

Finally got back to teesside and chose to stay here after having such a great stay a few years ago, it's nice to see standards have stayed high. The whole team are so welcoming and friendly and the room was spotless yet again. Thank you for another lovely stay

The weekend reception team are fantastic. The housekeeping supervisor made me feel so uncomfortable wile I was saying for my sisters in Ocotbr funeral as I mentioned the bathroom could do with a clean and there were horrible marks on the shower chair. Her comment was " why don't you try the other Premier inn. I thought her comment disgusting and hurt on a day when I was going to my sister funeral. I did tell a male colleague at reception who didn't say much, I now feel not very welcome at Premier Inn me think I am not welcome.

Lovely room, clean, smelt fresh. Was checked in by abi who greated us with a warm smile and was super helpful nice location & good value for money

I stayed in this premier inn for 1 week and I was overwhelmed with the kindness of the staff in here they were so accommodating and in particular Ally was so helpful, kind and compassionate making me feel at ease whilst staying here. The room was very clean and the location was really good close to the tees barrage and a beefeater restaurant

Stayed here on short notice for business. Staff were very helpful as we hadn't pre-booked. Rooms were standard but very clean. The bed provided a very comfortable sleep.

Our second visit to this lovely hotel in Stockton and been made welcome both times. Kevin on the reception very friendly and was able to fix a problem we had with the TV in our room and was helpful in ordering us a taxi on his own personal phone too when the taxi company in reception didn't show! The Beefeater next door has a large selection on the meal deal they offer along with a delicious breakfast the next day. This Premier Inn is one of the best we have stayed at. Only slight problem is has yet to be updated with Premier Plus rooms which I think would make it even better considering its beautiful location by the side of the River Tees.

came for the football but left feeling like we had won the cup ourselves! kevin is the real deal thank you for a great stay.

Have again come back to the beautiful north east to see family and friends and again stayed here this time we did the meal deal very worthwhile. Again great stay staff very good and again nothing to much trouble again well done hopefully see you in a few months

Abi and Nikki were exceptional and really welcoming, the best receptionist ever, please make them the bosses.

We can to watch Boro get beaten by Millwall…. Great result for the Lions! We were treated by the very lovely Ali on Reception. I asked for a bath because at home we only have a shower room. Not only was we given spotlessly clean room with a lovely big bath but they also gave me a gift of a bath bomb and face mask. Such a lovely gesture. We did have bants ver the football but it was all in jest and Ali took it all very well.

Hotel interior looks tired now. Room had a not very pleasant odour on arrival. Cleanliness in bathroom when you looked closer needed attention. Creaky floors. Everything worked but it just felt more budget than it used to. Time for a refresh or may need to modify Premier in the name.
