Shoki Shoki Hostel

Amazing location, awesome service and very friendly staff. Sparkling clean, a lot of space, very stable internet, we’ll equipped kitchen, various options of accommodation, Great AC, and many bathrooms. Just great. Highly recommended

The hostel itself is great, the beds are comfy, there is aircon, breakfast is available at the second location nearby for 15.000 tsh, the showers are warm and clean, they also provide drinking water. However, there wasn’t many people staying there at all, this meant that it was kind of hard to connect with other solo travellers. It wasn’t vert much social at all. So if you’re looking for a social experience I don’t recommend staying here. The location however is great it’s in the middle of Stone Town meaning it is really easy to get anywhere in the area by foot, so for that purpose it is great! The staff was also super nice!

Nice Hostel in great Location, the dorms are spacious and with a nice place to sit so that it invites people to share stories, it was very clean and quiet although there were many people, thanks for the A/C the hot Zanzibarian weather will not keep you from sleeping...all in all great! Thanks a lot.

The hostel is perfectly located in the middle of the old Stone town. The staff is really kind and the rooms are clean and well organized. 100% recommended, the best cheap hostel you can find. I hope i’ll get a chance to come back.

Most friendly and helpful staff ever, so lovely and great first impression of hostel. Rooms are clean and spacious.I had a lovely, relaxing time at this place. Everything was just great. Close proximity to city center :D.
