Lovely boutique hotel, from the moment we entered the dining/reception area we knew this was a good one. Situated at the end of a road there is no passing traffic, hence no noise. The staff were dressed in traditional long floaty dresses and looked lovely. The restaurant has an open side with fantastic views of a lagoon, we ate there on arrival and the food was good, we had salad. Rooms are across the car park in a garden area surrounded by greenery, with verandahs to sit on and antique furniture. This theme continues through to the rooms which were spacious and comfortable. We had 2 double beds in ours a large bathroom, TV (which we never watched) and 2 new bottle of water were provided daily free of charge. The pool area was at the corner of the site, small but adequate, it was unheated and very cold. Breakfast was a choice of three menus, cooked to order - all good and served promptly. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a 10 minute wander into the town centre. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone.

I had a lovely few days here as part of a drive round El Salvador.
The hotel is very pretty Spanish hacienda sort of thing.
Staff as with everywhere in El Salvador, lovely.
The area was spot on
I dont think I can fault it really.

The view from the room alone would qualify this hotel for a 5 star review, add in the spacious comfortable room and the great service and you have a true gem of a property.

We had a terrible time trying to lock the doors .. I know it looks kind of cool whe you see the antiques doors and locks but it’s not safe . They’re so old.
Beds are very uncomfortable.. fans on the ceiling made a low noise..

Absolutely love this hotel. We stayed two nights with private balcony overlooking Lago de Suchitlan. Fabulous view, room service for coffee before breakfast in the room, actually on the spacious balcony. The room was also huge with two comfortable chairs, a loveseat sofa, lots of tables to set things on and a full table and chairs for 4 on the balcony. The dining room is beautiful and rustic. There are parrots in cages singing and chattering. Many beautiful antiques on display, some of which are for sale.

A delightful hotel, wonderful setting overlooking the lake. The breakfast was excellent, lots of hot coffee. Our only comment is that the hot water in the shower was a bit variable, sometimes very hot sometimes cold. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff is excellent: friendly and genuinely servicial and helpful. This made it a wonderful experience. It is also a great place to relax and enjoy mother nature. It brought great memories from childhood when I went to the countryside. Somehow it transported us to the 1800s....

A perfect getaway to indulge in Salvadorian culture. The area is immersed in greenery with a beautiful view of the local lake. They have a decent sized pool that is super cold but very refreshing for the heat! The hospitality and breakfast was perfect! I will recommend this place to my family & friends!
