Avoid. The male staff member is rude and aggressive. I asked to store my bag as I had arrived early. Instead of politely explaining no luggage storage is available (what type of hotel does not have this?), he shouted at me to get out. I used Google translate and basic Korean (I lived in Suncheon, which is why I came back). When I showed him google translate and he read my question where I could store my bag if not at the hotel, he tossed my phone back at me (thankfully it has a case) and exited the reception area to shout at me more. This was incredibly threatening. During this whole encounter he swore at me in Korean using words such as ****!: 씨발 (Ssi-Bal) and Son of a b*tch; Asshole: *** (Gae-Sae-Ggi/Gae-Sae-Kki). I have no doubt that others must have needed to store their luggage and if I was Korean he would not have sworn.
Upon walking out, he followed me and seeing I had the trip.com app open became polite, asked me to come in the hotel and found space for my bag. He shook my hand and smiled. All very strange considering moments ago I was worried he may attack me. Upon checking out he showed up to shake my hand at around 6:30am and to take the key card off me. Imagine Koreans are trusted to put it in the box labelled key card.
The room was decent. Looked like the photos. Heating did not work, despite their being a thermostat near the floor it was disabled - apparently to save money. I regret staying here and that man (not sure if he is the owner or employee) ruined my trip.
