A good hotel with nice staff. Checkin and out was professional and quick. Breaky shows a huge variety of things, so everyone will match the needs. Room is fine, good bed, enough water at the shower. I had a room under the roof, saying I slammed once and another time for some obstructions. Beside that, and it will be learnt, nice stay at a good location. Next time again.

What is surprising is the large selection of hotel rooms in Sundsvall, which is not a major tourist destination or congress city, which in turn means that the price level is attractive in comparison to many other cities of Sundsvall's size.The Strawberry chain offers several, this option came up first and offered an overnight stay with a late booking.Offered half board, which is unusual unless it is on holiday destinations.Today it was appealing. The dining room is not a feast for the eyes and salad, soup and main course were good in all their simplicity. Not to expect any big gastronomic numbers. A recommendation is to perhaps use a small sign to describe the day's menu at the buffet.No interior designer has been involved, to put it diplomatically. Chose a room under the standard category, and it was exactly what you get for the money.The staff at the reception were welcoming, but lacked a few happy faces in the dining room both for dinner and breakfast.

Bad news first: Parking was confusing. There is no loading zone for the hotel (we were seconds away from being ticketed just checking in). Hotel parking was full. Luckily found a place on the street not too far away. Too late for evening meal. Good news: The movie theater makeover was well-done. Unusual interior design, but it worked. The room was as advertised; kind of quirky, especially the large glass bathroom door. But comfortable and clean. Best news: The breakfast buffet was one of the most generous we've experienced. Lots of bread choices and warm dishes. Friendly staff;

Great location, large room, helpful staff, nice sauna in the basement, dinner included. The room wasn't too clean though and there wasn't much choice for breakfast and dinner. The thing that really annoyed me though was the glass door to the bathroom, really bad idea.

Stayed here twice in March and the hotel is in a very good location just in the city centre. Used their parking facilities which is in the same building but be aware you have to exit and walk a bit outdoors and still enter via the reception hall. Rooms a bit tired. Showers in both rooms I stayed in made water spill on the floor and there are no floor towels so it gets pretty wet on the floor. A minor thing that could easily be arranged and make the stay even more pleasent. The staff at front desk and in the dining area were all very nice and their evening buffet is always a delight. Catered for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Over all a good stay

Hotel heeft drie sterren, maar voor ons waren het er vier waard. Service was goed en personeel aan de receptie zeer behulpzaam. Hotel serveert een in de prijs inbegrepen buffet als avondeten, welke voor ons goed genoeg was. Het was 's nachts wel warm op de kamers en raam kan open, maar door de ligging nabij horeca niet echt prettig. Desondanks een prima verblijf gehad. Mocht je gebruik willen maken van de parkeergarage, vraag dan naar de plekken op de begane grond. De keldergarage is alleen te bereiken door een steile in en uitrit die ook nog in een bocht loopt. Niet prettig om te doen
