Breakers North Gold Coast Apartments

Great stay! Perfect for kids and adults alike with the choice of both the pool and ocean. Just wish I had booked the sea view. I couldn’t fault the service especially when addressing an issue with our parking.

We arrived at Breakers North in Surfers Paradise not knowing exactly what to expect. We were fortunate to book a two bedroom unit and were assigned Unit 12B. The building has 15 floors so we were up high and over looked the beach. The views were amazing!!! Floor to ceiling retractable doors on both exterior walls of the living room allowed an almost 180 degree view of nothing but surf, sand and blue ocean as far as you can see. The unit consisted of two bedrooms and two baths. The main bedroom included its own ensuite and the second bath included washer and dryer. The rooms were furnished with beds and night stands and included closets. The kitchen and dining/living area is spacious and included table and chairs, couch and chair and the basic kitchen tools and appliances. This particular unit hasn’t been renovated since, probably, when it was built so you’re basically paying for the spectacular view!!! The property is well maintained and includes a nice pool, grass tennis court, covered gas BBQ area and boardwalk/beach access. The main shopping area is a 20 minute walk north but there is a small grocery store and liquor/wine store 5 mins away. Resident parking is free in the basement and secured by an automatic gate.

Great location! Apartment was awesome! Views were amazing! Pool and spa area is really nice! So close to the beach and was so nice being able to walk to both Surfers and Broadbeach. Managers of the apartments were so nice and helpful! Highly recommend this property!

A great place to stay. Located right on a patrolled beach, clean, secure and in good condition goven its age. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thanks

The flat is dirty the carpet is totally filthy, disgusting. The seals in the refrigerators are dirty or mouldy. There were clear urine stains on the toilet seat. All the furniture is worn and old and dingy. The cushions at the dining table are dirty. There are mould stains on the ceiling in the bedroom. For 130 euros a night, this is an imposition! Leider war mein Appartement (15G) so unhygienisch und abgewohnt und dreckig, dass ich dort nicht übernachten konnte. Der Teppich war von Flecken übersät. Die Dichtungen der Kühlschränke waren dreckig oder schimmelig.  An der Decke in Schlafzimmer war ein großer Schimmel- oder Wasserfleck. Auf der Toilette waren große deutlich gelbe Urinflecken. Die Flure im Haus und mein Zimmer waren schmuddelig und sehr sehr abgenutzt. Und das für 125,-Euro die Nacht!!! Ich musste mir dann notdürftig in der Nacht eine andere (private) Bleibe suchen, was Gott sei Dank auch geklappt hat. Die Aussicht und die Lage sind dagegen sehr gut. Auch hat der Manager Luke sehr gut, freundlich und professionell gehandelt und mir den bezahlten Preis der Buchung komplett erstattet.

I honestly think we stayed in the best accommodation in Surfers Paradise. We could not have been happier with our choice. We stayed in the superior waterfront apartment 13B, on the 13th floor, there are 15 floors in total. The apartment was spacious, clean,  with breathtaking views, and equipped with everything we could have wished for. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, ocean view from every room, beautiful balcony, smart TV, Bluetooth speaker,  complimentary toiletries, excellent Wi-Fi,  laundry facilities, full kitchen, lots of storage, direct access to the beach,  tennis court on site,  BBQ and dining tables, sun loungers, beach towels. The accommodation is 15 min walk to the Surfers Paradise centre, and it's a very pleasant walk. There are tram and bus stops near by. We were looking for a place with stunning views and right on the beach,  and this place provided exaltly that. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Probably the worst place we have stayed. Continuous construction noise with the pool and one lift being replaced along with an apartment being renovated. The apartment was not private with Jewel apartments looking directly into the units. Kitchen tap loose and insufficient hot water everday. As there was only one lift working you spent a lot of time waiting to get to your apartment. We suggest you don't stay here.

DO NOT recommend! Everything seemed dirty & rundown. Pool & spa weren’t the best either! Mouldy towel. Yuk. This place charged $824 per night & when we decided to complain (day 5) we were told that we had complained too late into our stay … We asked for a small refund so we could leave (we booked 9 nights) - they refused - blamed us.. Would never stay here again!

The property and location were fantastic. There was a lot of work going on around the building like the pool being replaced and the elevator need repairs which was fine. The lack of communication from the front desk and their attitude was fairly average.
