Premier Inn Birmingham North (S.Coldfield)

The hotel is small but since it was a nearby hotel to my relatives in Sutton Coldfield. However, overall the hotel is not bad and quiet, the restaurant provides a wide variety of British brewage

Staff was rude and not helpful at all. Had to wait for more than an hour just to have a clog in my room's wash basin fixed. Night Staff was rude. We were not provided with 2 towels (one for each of us) even after requesting for it twice! Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. Even if they offer for free.

I stayed at Glasgow Premier Inn a couple of years back & was very impressed. When I booked online, I was given the impression that my room would be the same as in Glasgow. As it turned out, my room was miserably small and cramped (particularly the shower), and I would not have booked at Premier Inn had I known how poor my room would be. Walking down the passageway I did notice that the other rooms were (all??) better than mine - so I feel very cheated and disgruntled. I booked in JANUARY. Surely I could have been allocated something decent. I did not enjoy having to book a precise time for breakfast and was upset that on the Bank Holiday Monday normal Monday hours prevailed and that I could not sleep in a bit. Extremely punctually at 10:00 on Sunday, indeed BY 10:00, everything was cleared away, so that one could no longer even get tea. I have travelled in 41 countries and have never received such regimented and unpleasant breakfast service. To add insult to injury, the restaurant staff were very curt and unfriendly. Moreover, the food was poor. On Sunday the black pudding was inedible and the hash brown was soggy. On Monday I did not order the black pudding but I will admit that the hash brown was very good. I also ordered bubble & squeak instead – but never received it. The continental portion of the breakfast was uninspiring and not very good. The yoghurt was like water – I then noticed there was a hole in the lid. I then took another & it was fine. I regret staying at the Premier Inn and won’t do so again in the future.

The room was clean and comfortable on arrival, however temperature was very warm this was rectified by going to reception. We was in the area for awards at The Belfry, The only let it down was the carpets with stains on and WiFi non existent even with phone signal was very poor. The breakfast was poor for the price. However when we returned after 11pm the night staff was on and KATHY showed interest as we were dress for the black tie event awards, Kathy were very friendly and polite. KATHY'S customer service is 5* and this shows she had been in this sort of role for quite some time.

This is the best hotel in the country. Kathy is absolutely amazing she makes you feel sooooo welcome and will cater to your needs. We come here for a good night and the white horse pub makes it a great stay. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Lovely hotel populated with lively staff.. there is a great hotel next to it and plenty of amenities near to it… great stay with friends

We haven’t been back to the midlands for a few years but visiting family the weekend we decided to book a premier inn. This was a bit different to the others as they don’t have their own breakfast but it was ok. The staff were really nice and helpful and the room was just as expected. Would definitely stay here again as it was convenient for where we needed to visit.

Kathy on reception was absolutely amazing to chat to very enthusiastic and helped with anything I needed really enjoyed my stay

I love staying here. Have a lovely comfortable sleep. Room perfect for me. Staff are always cheerful and on hand.
