Unfortunately, we only spent one night at the Lodge, but the atmosphere of the room and the garden, the quality of the breakfast and especially the kindness and helpfulness of the host Walter convinced us that we have to come back here again!

very nice house with a super nice host. rooms are spacious and lovingly furnished. Service is great, Walter provided us with great tips. This accommodation could be better, we would love to come back.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Marula Lodge, and will return. The welcome was friendly and informative and Walter took time out to make us feel at home, and made useful suggestions on restaurants in the vicinity of the guesthouse. Our room was well appointed and comfortable.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Marula Lodge. Lovely comfy beds - we slept really well. Spotlessly clean and a beautiful setting. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Walter was great - the perfect host!

We had a great time at Marula Lodge. We were a large group and all felt very relaxed and we enjoyed our time there. The lodge is very nicely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. Walter, our host is a wonderful host who's very caring and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay at the lodge.

We stayed over for one night only on our roadtrip through Western Cape. I will go back to Marula Lodge. Walter is a very nice host and he thinks of everything you might need. This was one of our favorite stays.

Complex centrally located but still quiet with a beautiful garden. We made a date mistake when booking, but the host solved this and everything else professionally and yet personally and gave valuable tips, any time again

Warm and welcoming, Walter went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay including getting in touch with us ahead of our stay to provide restaurant recommendations and even arranged the booking for us. He has great local knowledge and made our trip truly enjoyable. Thank you, Walter!

Very hard, small bed. Room was very warm, could only open 2 small windows . there is a ventilator but hot air will not get cold with this. We had a terrible night. The host is very much "there" ! Too loud, talkes too much. If you like a host like that he is the best. We thought it was very annoying. You have to carry the suitcase to the room .... terrible rocks so you can not stroll them. The host is too busy talking.... not helping. The property was nice, with a pool and nice seats.
