Travelodge Swindon Central

All was good. Very friendly staff.

Good location and easy to access to city centre. Will definitely come back again.

Pros - Incredibly cheap for a Travelodge. £45 the night before NYE. - Everything in the room worked (more or less) - Rooms were quite spacious - Bed and shower were fine - Parking was very easy - there’s a cheap Multi Storey car park across the road from the hotel. - Location is great, close to shops and bars etc. Cons - Did have some issues initially. When I checked in, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, however reception staff were pleasant about it and swapped me to another room. - As it’s an old style travelodge, the room decor was very tired and in need of a refurb - Interior of the hotel and rooms was a bit run down - Handle for the toilet flush came off in my hand. Thankfully this happened just before check out so didn’t cause me any issues, but I told the hotel staff so they knew to fix it. Overall, it’s a very average, dated hotel but if you’re looking for somewhere cheap to stay after a few drinks, it’l get the job done. If you want something a little more refined, I’d consider staying elsewhere.

Lauren was very friendly she organised taxis for 20 men multiple times, having a rugby team must have been stressful but her and her team were awfully friendly and hospitable. We’re sorry for being loud and annoying but thank you to all of you

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail of my visit was perfect. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. The amenities, including the pool and fitness center, were top-notch, and the restaurant served delicious meals with great variety. The location was ideal, close to key attractions yet peaceful for relaxation. I appreciated the seamless check-in process and the thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and toiletries. This hotel truly exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or stay here again! Thank yoh Lauren and Sue

Amazing staff really helpful! Would highly recommend to anyone. Walking distance from the old town. Enjoyable night out also. Lauren and Sue were the best, really appreciate their time and effort for making my time as comfortable as possible x
