This castle was part of our stay on a Backroads cycling tour. Every room seemed to be different. Ours had a spectacular view and plenty of room. Breakfast was amazing and they were kind enough to fill my water bottle with ice each morning for a day of cycling! Take the tour of the castle if you can.

This is a hidden gem in the beautiful region of Emiglia Romagna! Perfect for those looking for a relaxed italian experience away from the crowds. The castle is beautiful, the rooms are cosy with a beautiful view, the staff is super attentive (the lady in the breakfast brought me every morning a fresh mint tea from the garden, as I asked in the first day, she remembered that every morning!). I recommend visiting the parmeggiano reggiano production (ciaolatte), it is very near the castle. We definitely will go back :)

The worst hotel experience in my life. Very expensive and really poor service. Unfriendly people working there. Not even one person wanted to help us. Restaurant was fully booked and no other restaurant in the area. We had to drive 25 min to find a really bad restaurant. Whatever you do - don’t book this place!!!

This is the most wonderful place, the views, especially from the restaurant terrace, the tastefully decorated rooms, cool and quiet at night, the fabulous breakfasts, and the friendly staff. The restaurant is fabulous, the food superb, but what you don’t read about very often in reviews is the kindness. I am a gastric cancer patient, I cannot eat big meals, so we asked if we could divide our meals so we could experience all the courses. The chef served it on two different plates in the most beautiful way. That was very kind indeed. I do not hesitate to recommend this hotel and will hopefully return once more.

A little piece of heaven on earth. As simple as that! The food, the views, the staff and so on and so on 🙏🏻❤️☀️😎 Definitely coming back! By the way - best scrambled eggs in the world in a really good restaurant

This was lace is magical but what sets it apart is the restaurant Oscar, not to be co fused with the hotel restaurant. The chef owner has been operating for 30 years and the food is hands down the best I’ve had in Italy. Simple yet amazing and half the price of the food adjacent to the hotel.

Beautiful location. Fair amenities. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING OF VALUE. I "lost" my Cartier sunglasses. They fell out of my husband's pocket at a private event there, the last night of our stay. Management quickly responded that they had FOUND them and proceeded to mail them to us at our next hotel (at our cost). I laughed when I opened the package. I was sent a dead-ringer cheap knock-off of my glasses! It's as if this was done on purpose! Good luck to the only person in Parma sporting my Cartier Pantheres.

What was marketed as a luxury hotel was in reality a bug incubator: bugs everywhere in the minimal hotel room which, according to the angry owner, was not minimal at all but one of the hotel's finest. Every question was met with an unpleasant attitude and the staff seemed afraid of the woman who was walking around spreading bad vibes. the breakfast consisted of dry bread which several guests complained about but the owner only replied that they have the region's best baker in the hotel. Yoghurt was served in plastic cups and several of the pastries had dried out. The area is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the owner does not seem knowledgeable in hospitality. We have traveled all over the world and can compare with many hotels: this is not one of the better ones!

Exceptional. An amazing outstanding unique location just one hour from Milan to visit Middle Age castles, including Tabiano Castle, Churches,Abbey and test one of the best cuisines in the world. One sample is in the old Caseificio with local traditional home made dishes
