City Inn Hotel (Taipei Station Branch I)

This hotel was excellent! Great location, multilingual staff, very clean amenities, free coffee/tea/snacks from their pantry, and very close to lots of fun attractions and food places. I would definitely want to stay here again when I come back to visit Taipei.

The service of the hotel was excellent and the hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. Although the room was small, it was very clean and we could find all the amenities that we needed. We felt comfortable in staying there for 4 days. The hotel location was good and safe. It was close to Taipei Station and you could find different restaurants around the hotel. We definitely shall stay in CityInn again for our next trip of Taipei in the future.

Clean room and at a good location. The wifi is very bad though. Not a suitable hotel for business travellers who need to have video calls.

My water supply was cut off while I was halfway through showering at the hotel. The front desk acted quickly and brought extra towels. However, it wasn't fixed promptly, and there was no update from the hotel. It wasn't until I called the front desk that I learned the water supply was cut off for the night. Subsequently, the staff delivered a box of mineral water for my use.

It is great to have snacks and hot drink and convenient pantry even no canteen set inside hotel. The corridor and pantry are clean and tidy. It would be great if each room would have its own password for wifi, so enhance the security in using the internet. It is a warm welcome for hotel to have Xmas gift during the trip as well. Location was fantastic, minutes walk away from the train station which was perfect for us to take the train to Hualien in the morning. There's also a park and museum within walking distance. We booked a total of 5 rooms, they were on the smaller side, but more than sufficient for 2 with large luggage. The night shift team who checked us in (close to midnight) was extremely helpful, and enthusiastically answered all my questions about nearby places, eateries etc. All basic amenities was provided, they have coffee machines, drinks and water dispensers, microwave in the pantry available for use all day, They even have cup noodles provided at night for supper if you get hungry at night, otherwise, family mart is next door. There's international plug point in the room, full length mirror, some rooms has a bidet (mine didn't but my family members' does) There is a lift, albeit smaller, so no problem for my elderly family members to move around with their luggage. If you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest to request for a room away from the pantry as it can get abit noisy at night if someone is using the microwave. All-in-all, I really enjoyed my stay with CityInn and would most likely return should I visit Taipei again. Thanks CityInn team, love the hospitality.

The hotel is well located, and is generous with it's complimentary amenities - coffee, tea, snacks and laundry facilities. However, the housekeeping standard is average - there were strands of long hair in the bathroom and on the soap holder - traces of the previous occupant.
