Booked no-frills accommodation for a night and turns out to be pretty good. Lots of food options and a bustling area.
The train station is also not too far from the hotel.

The location is very convenient. It is near to Taipei Main Station. The overall cleanliness and room size are perfect for a solo traveller. There are a lot of food and shopping choices near the accommodation too.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location is fantastic, the overall experience was mixed. The hotel is situated in a vibrant and funky neighborhood, full of small street food restaurants that give it a great local charm. If you're into exploring authentic, lively spots, this area is perfect.
However, the hotel itself is quite worn down. It’s marketed as a "Design Hotel," but the room I stayed in was far from what I expected. My 12m² room felt cramped and humid, and the lack of room cleaning, while not a major issue for me, could bother some guests. The floor was noticeably worn out, which added to the tired feel of the place.
If you're just looking for a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time outside, it works. But if you're after a comfortable stay with modern amenities, this might not be the best choice.
