The Place", is a brand crafted with style under the Hotel Royal Group. The name of "the Place" stresses deep link to local culture where the hotel locates, and insists the spirit of "Fun, Fusion, Fashion". The Place first opened in Tainan in 2014, then the Place Yilan, the Place Taichung were born. In 2019, the Place officially opens in Taipei. From the early tea village, black town to the modern tech center, we collect and keep these moments for travelers. We fuse local imagery with creativity, energy, surprise to reinterpret the city outlook, and build a place to rest, share and exchange ideas. We also build a way to explore the city and converse with it, hoping to bring travelers, the city and local spots closer together. Design team from Mecanoo architecten in Holland was appointed on a project basis for the interior design of the hotel. The team planned for 179 chic and simple rooms, the public art space, meeting rooms and specialty restaurants. The team uses ports, red bricks, tea and other historical and pictorial elements in the hotel to present different periods of Nangang.Daha Fazla Göster

Love view from my room
Love facilities both inside and outside my room
Receptionist is helpful
And will stay at this hotel again if have chance to travel to Taipei

I love this hotel , clean and it is near to trains station and the convention center by only walking distance . Family marts and Macdonald is just downstairs of the hotel, which is very convenient for us.

It was a great experience. The reception has staff on rotation 24/7 so it is great for ppl who are gonna check in late. Place is bright and clean. Staff is also very helpful when it comes to help with directions etc. won’t mind coming back again.

Although the room is small, it is centrally located and easy to find food and entertainment around.
Rooms are small but excellent , I can’t wait to come back .

Modern set up with beautiful city view during breakfast. Check in and check out experience are fast. Beautiful view of the city from the bathroom as well. Overall its a good place to stay.

I recently stayed at Taipei place Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The surrounding area boasted an array of restaurants and shopping options, making it a convenient choice for travelers. The amenities provided were impressive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond to accommodate my early check-in request, even though the official check-in time was 15:00. Their exceptional service truly enhanced my overall stay. Highly recommended!

The exterior and lighting of the hotel building are designed by internationally famous C.Y. Lee and James Yuan. The façade is streamlined to enrich the silhouette of skyline, adding to local features of the building, and stressing the importance of being the center of transportation; the unique, innovative and moving lighting at night is the first system to operate by new type of chip with WIFI, together creating a very distinctive landmark in Nangang. Travelers who come to Nangang is returning home, but it is also the beginning of a new journey
