City Suites Taipei Nanxi

Nice and very spacious room, bed is comfortable. Location is good, near to beimen and zhongsan mrt stations. Good service and friendly staff too. Nice food stalls nearby too.

The hotel is located within walking distance of 3 train stations namely Taipei Main, Beimen, Zhongshan stations. A mart is situated just beside the hotel and there is also a 7-11 opposite us. The location of this hotel is prefect. During our stay, we were asked to change our room due to some works needed to be done at our level. This created some unhappiness as we needed to pack our luggage in the night and hand over to the concierge early next morning since we were heading out for our morning tour. However, Front Desk Mr Heiei handled the situation very well and understood that this had indeed caused some inconvenience to us. Overall, we still happy with our stay at City Suites. We gave a 4 star for amenities as we felt that there can be power sockets near our bedside tables, instead of having them just at the study table and toilet.

It is a walk of ~10 to 15 mins from Taipei Main Station. Find the correct exit Y19. It is a very short walk to the famous Ningxia night market. Friendly staff and clean hotel.

Good location close to Taipei main station and zhongshan mrt station. Rooms are roomy for the price paid so it’s very value for money. The location is very near to 2 convenience stores and a supermarket.

My experience at this hotel was a 10/10. I’m amazed by the great hospitality and the amenities of the hotel. The room was very comfortable and had an interesting Onsen design which I totally loved. Nothing like relaxing with a hot bathtub after a long day exploring Taipei 🤩. There’s a cute temple nearby which I’ll attach in the pictures below.

We arrived the day before big earthquake, lots of shaking but no drama. All minor damage was fixed same day. Staff were great especially old mate at the door in the avo/ evenings. He would check in with us every time we went out to make sure we knew where we were going and had a way of getting there. Rooms were well appointed and clean. Nice downstairs free coffee/ tea area with little nooks for different groups to chill. Same on level one.

This year, my usual stay at the hotel wasn't as pleasant. I typically travel there annually, but the experience was marred by roadworks outside the hotel for five consecutive nights, starting from 9 pm until the next morning. My corner room, which faces the main road, amplified the disturbance, with constant drilling, paving, and noise from trucks and lorries disrupting my sleep.

City Suites Taipei Nanxi is well located very close to Dihua Street and conveniently connected to Beimen MRT station and Taipei Main Station which allow to go everywhere. The room was big and clean with big beds. It was quiet despite being on the main street. The breakfast was good as well a mix of western and asian food and the breakfast room was in a peaceful atmosphere.
