Easy acess to Talkeetna & great views of Denali (when the weather cooperates). Can walk or shuttle to town.

Spent one night here. The lodge has a little of a Disney like feel to it rather an authentic Alaskan vibe. The outdoor spaces to enjoy the amazing views of the Alaskan Mountain Range were quite nice, easily accessible, and comfortable and were almost worth the price of admission. Stayed 3 nights in an amazing room. View was gorgeous, room was clean. The lobby was nice. A lot of staff was in training, so took a minute at times to get assistance. I wanted to give the lodge 5 stars, but the restaurant was so disappointing. Menu was limited and then the wait staff informed us of all the meals they were out of! We stayed because it was getting late and we were all starving. We asked for bread or rolls, while we waited for the meals, however, wait staff told us they did not serve bread or rolls. For the prices they charge, they should be giving customers bread or rolls! The meals were OK, nothing memorable, and not worth the price. Would stay here again, for the view and the room. Would definitely be skipping the restaurant.

Food quality was nowhere near the value of prices. Likely a side effect of the Pursuit monopoly we noticed at various resort locations (Resurrection Roadhouse, et. al). Staff and views were great aside from the parking lot view from the room. But others in our group had paid much more for the same uninspiring view. Staff was great aside from failing to bus the overabundance of used barware filling the tables in the common area by the fireplace.

The lodge was BEAUTIFUL and the staff was very helpful. The view is fantastic and the lobby was inviting. Loved the live music on the night we were there.

After eating we went out with a beer to watch the fading light on the Denali range. Chatted to many friendly guests mostly American whereas we were from Scotland.

Beautiful property with a bus service that leaves every half hour for town. Only draw back - the sink was next to the beds so you woke people up if you washed your hands in the middle of the night. The restaurant was amazing- so delicious. We had the chefs special salmon and an amazing berry pie like dessert with thick dollop of cream. Yum!

Rooms are great. I wish I would have had more time to hike and explore the grounds and ride bike. Lots of cruise people there but they were at the other end of the hotel. The large groups seemed to be well managed.

Hotel provided an excellent view of Mt Denali, this did not disappoint. The lobby offers this great view as well as some rooms, and includes a viewing platform outside. Bed was very comfortable. We paid extra for a room with the view. While the room itself was spacious, clean and with a comfortable bed, there was nothing fancy about the room; fairly basic…however it was really about the view. The only thing disapppointing was the restaurant. We chose not to eat there as it was significantly overpriced. We plan to return to Alaska within the next few years, with friends, and will most likely stay here again.
