This is a really nice hotel; however, there are areas of the hotel that smells really foul of stinky dog. Overall, it was good for one night but not sure I'd want to stay more than that. I'd suggest only allowing pets on certain floor and allowing guest to choose like they do with smoking/non-smoking. Its a shame people bring their pets in this hotel and allow them to peep/poop in it.

Our first room smelled like smoke, possibly pot. Not sure how the cleaning person missed it, unless the cleaning person did the smoking. They did kindly move us to another room, which did not smell. It was clean, but the faucet in the tub leaked. Pillows were pretty flat. The carpet in front of the door next to us was littered with dirt, dust & a plastic fork. Not sure where that came from. Breakfast was good and it was nice to have fresh fruit. Lady working the breakfast area was friendly & nice. Lobby & breakfast area was nice, but I think the rooms could maybe use a refresh. Nice bar in the lobby area, but it was closed. And we were there on a Sat night. Not sure why. Maybe a staffing issue? We did use the free laundry room, which was a nice bonus you don’t find at other hotels.

This is a wonderful property with beautiful grounds to enjoy. This will be our go to stop when heading to family in Fl.

This property sits on a private lake that has an over water gazebo. Very relaxing "backyard" whether you sit on the back porch, bbq at the 2 outdoor areas, or sit over the water.
The room offerings allow for all types of ttavellers comfort. The beds are very comfy. They offer both firm and soft pillows.
The kitchen areas allow for a full size meal prep and service as well as just quick snacks. The fridge also has an ice maker so no trips down the hall for refills.
The FREE laundry is awesome!
The only thing that I was displeased with was the breakfast. There needs to be more than 1 waffle maker. There was no milk available for the cereal offering. Having trays available to make it easy for parents to make multiple meals at once for multiple children.

Room was very clean and had lots of room to spread out. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Property was clean. Check in was easy. Breakfast buffet had hot and cold selections and was very good. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here many times and always pleased, but my room smells of strong urine. I should contact the front desk, but we are tired from driving. I may think twice before booking again.

The shower was luke warm. The area doesn’t have many options to eat. The breakfast is advertised on the website as 6:30, but was told at the counter that they don’t serve until 7:30 on Saturday and Sunday, and the AC never cooled the room. For the price, I would expect better.

Didn't think the front desk worker was very attentive. It's a hotel, so I shouldn't be "bothering you" by checking in. When we got into our room, the sofa bed wasn't made up, that's ok, but there were not enough linens to make it. When we called down to the front desk to ask, there supposedly were no more blankets in the entire hotel to give. Body wash in shower was also empty when we checked in. We feel comfortable staying here, but have not spent the night yet. However, the fact that we just got here and have an experience isn't the best first impression you want to give guests.

My sister and I loved our two bedroom suite! It was affordable. The suite was clean and I love that there is no carpet! The staff was super friendly. We can’t say enough good things about this place! The lake, the pier, the deck! Perfect!!
