One of the worst hotel experiences ever. We arrived half an hour before check in time at 14.30 and even though informed check in was at 15.00 we only received our room at 15.30 after waiting an hour in the lobby. We weren't offered any compensation, not even after asking for i.e. complimentary drinks. The only explanation was that they had so many late check outs and are running behind in their schedule. Late check outs are service that you are selling to your customers!!! Using that as an excuse for being late on your cleaning process is unprofessional.
Many hotels these days offer pre-check in by sending a link to your email and this is fine and I like to use it when given this option. This hotel however requests to send you a link to an app when you go to the counter for check in. The receptionist didn't even know how to check my email address from the hotel system for sending the link, instead she asked me to write it down to a piece of paper which she then left on the desk for everyone to see. So much for customer privacy. If you don't offer the option to do this prior to your visit, this just seems lazy and poor customer service from the hotel part. The app didn't even had all parking options, only for car and as we were travelling by motorcycle (different price) we needed to pay for that separately on the counter anyway.
Breakfast was mostly just canned stuff and white bread. No fresh fruits only canned fruit salad. Same goes for vegetables which were mostly pickled.
