From exceptional amuse bouche to amuse bouche to an forgettable bread course with a whipped sweet cream hand turned butter, through each chapter of our selected menu of Sicilian flavors including a delicate crisped zucchini pasta to the perfect bite of Al Dente lasagna of ragu to a trio of perfectly seasoned and delicately grilled meats to a fantastical finish of miniature Italian desserts all beautifully plated and intellectually stimulating of the senses; topping a special evening of lovingly prepared food and beautifully presented and paced service. We very highly recommend the Batu and San Pietro, five stars all the way and without the tired forced pretentiousness so common now, from the moment we stepped out of our car thru every experience from breakfast to pool to coordinated excursions. This is my second time here and I absolutely love the staff from Paolo the front desk manager to Giovanni and my favorite breakfast staff: Stefanie, Yelitza, Nino. My waitress for evening has been Gabriella since last year and my bartender Alessio. Love everyone here. Great to see everyone again after 1 year. I will see you all again in October or next year same time. Cheers to success 💛

I spent plenty of time research accom in Taomarina. I was keen to give info on this place. If you haven’t been to this area it’s hard to know what area to stay. This was great. Good location 1/2 way between beach & main town. Lovely hotel with a great pool. Staff were great. Pool bar was good. View is amazing..

A magnificent hotel with stunning views (make sure you book a sea view). I booked only a few weeks before our 4 day break and the email correspondence via Max and others was excellent and helped me book the right options. The pool is beautiful and immaculately clean, as is the rest of the hotel. We were very impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the staff and the breakfast choice and service was very impressive. It was a perfect base (a 10 minute walk) from which to enjoy the beautiful town of Taormina as a late summer blast of warmth before the Welsh winter back home. We aim to go back in September 2024.

Absolutely loved this hotel! The attentiveness of the staff made this a true luxury experience. It felt to me like a Four Seasons without the pretension or haughtiness . The views from our two seaview rooms were breathtaking! I had a medical emergency and staff was amazing at getting me help and asked about how I was feeling throughout the trip. So caring and kind. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms very clean. Housekeeping gave constant attention to the rooms. Shuttle was fantastic. Tours booked through hotel were great experiences. Taormina itself is beautiful. Can’t wait to go back! Thanks to everyone at St. Pietro - you were amazing!

Every detail was perfect. We were treated like royalty. We had a private birthday dinner for 26 people at the Batu restaurant on the terrace. The ambiance, table decoration, lighting, food, music, service was pure magic. Breakfast was superb and the room had a spectacular view of the bay and was of a very high standard.

It is with real pleasure that I rate this hotel with 5 stars! This is a grand hotel in every sense! The service is elegant, discreet and efficient! The location is excellent! The room pleasant and comfortable. The meals were varied, prepared with fresh, local ingredients, perfectly cooked and served, the sommelier knows his wines, the coffee is delicious. Of course, as always, it is the little things that make all the difference in this 5 stars hotel! All boxes were ticked : the surprise welcome bubbly perfectly chilled with its bowl of strawberries, the marble walk-in bathroom with three shower heads and recessed lights, the coffee station and mini bar replenished every time, tidying up/change towels/preparing the room every time we were out, the polite smile, the service, the service, the service....and this magnificent view over the Ionian sea!!! Grand Hotel San Pietro do know how to take care of their guests!

The hotel is very pretty and well kept in the common areas but not in the rooms. They need to do serious plumbing work in the bathrooms, since you cant keep a water temperature steady, you either burn or get a cold shower. Also the shower space is very small and slippery. This was very annoying!! Also our air conditioning clogged up and water started pouring from the ceiling, thankfully the problem was resolved and air condition worked well after that. For being a 5 star hotel, they have terrible pillows and mattress. We stayed 3 nights and never changed our sheets. Also if you need a hair dryer don’t count on it, it is very bad quality and barely blows hot air, leaving your hair with a lot of frizz. They could upgrade the hair dryers!! Staff was not very helpful in the front desk!! Restaurant was very good and nice staff.
