We booked a room for me and my misses plus our 9 year old daughter. We only stayed two nights and thought the staff were very friendly and enjoyed the hotel on the whole. Apart from the ceiling fan and the extractor fan needing a clean the room suited our needs. Would recommend.

It is convenient but room small, very noisy from other patrons & restaurant/bar. Fan in toilet very nosey and no separate light beside that connected to the toilet fan. No air conditioning in room, opening the window increases the noise.

Property is tired, bed very hard and pillows cheap. No air conditioning in room but had a ceiling fan this didn't help and cool room unless windows open but no safety latches on window so felt uncomfortable leaving these open even though in a room directly above ground floor level.

Arrived later than expected after driving 6 hours. Got there just before 9. Reception closed at 9. But I couldn’t find driveway so drove round and round. Then no off street parking available. So had to park up the road. Couldn’t get in. As had no instructions for lock box. Called help phone. He wasn’t best pleased. Came and helped eventually. Went to room. Room was tired and run down. Old fashioned. Was kept awake most of the night by people upstairs walking around. Creaking floor very loud. I couldn’t wait to get up and leave. Should be a youth hostel not a lodge. Never again.

On the lakefront … as expected … our 2nd floor “Lake View” room had a great view of sunset over the lake. Many food and drink options available within walking distance. Room had everything we needed for a good night’s sleep. Easy self-checkout if you need to be up early.

If you are looking at just using it as a one stop and sleep then fine.

Great location. We had a room right next to the restaurant and had no issues with noise at all. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Restaurant was great / staff great / rooms absolute minimal - bathroom lacking in set up.
Spa and pool great but ridiculous close hours
Room charge was expensive for what you got !
